想問吓大家
如果讀esf kindergarten會唔會比較容易考入esf school？
還是讀英文幼稚園亦可？
另外，如果冇讀n班要考入esf kindergarten會唔會比較難？係咪一定要讀n班？如果讀n班，讀邊類型嘅學校嘅n班比較好？

Yes, because if you dont go to ESF Kindergarden and have no other priorities, (e.g. Alumni Priority, Debenture holder etc) you are not guaranteed an interview. So if ESF is your first choice, you should go to the Kindergarden.

No need to take N class, unless your child's first language at home is not English. The K1 interview is testing whether the child can do well in an english speaking environment. So the kids that get an interview but no offer usually are those who listen to too much chinese at home so dont understand the teacher, or the shy ones who understand but dont respond. So if you have an active, outgoing toddler who understands English, there is no need to go to N class.

主要看英語溝通能力，學術多面反而唔重要。令孩子能在英語環境中自如的玩耍，懂聽指令即可！不需要N班，更 加唔好英文幼稚園。

As far as I know, most esf kindergarten students get interview for guarantee list. If there are too many applicants in your catchment zone, they will offer you interview at another school (guarantee list / reserve list). If esf primary is your ideal school then I would recommend you to apply their kindergarten. I heard it’s quite difficult to get an interview if you without any priority, especially for KJS, SJS and BHS.

I know a few kids going to esf K1 this Sep, common thing is they all have domestic helpers that speak English while parents speak Canto mostly. Not all of them attended PN. If your child have a daily English environment, it is not necessary going to PN / English classes. My child went to local kindergarten, he passed year 1 interview so it should be fine as long as you have the chance to interview :) we did not have priority just tried our luck

ESF kindergarten 可優先去 interview ( 當然也要 pass interview ) 。
當然，因為 ESF kindergarten 也有人唔 pass interview ，所以其他 kindergarten 小朋友也有機會。

Thank you! My child will go to BHS
