繁體 or 簡體

若小朋友讀國際學校, 在外面補中文, 用繁體 or 簡體好?
因香港普遍不用簡體, 學繁體好似比較有用.
但學校教簡體, 會唔會令小朋友混淆?
請給我意見.

同意, 我的子女都是先在外面學繁體，學校學簡體，他們的普通話程序還比同齡local學生高兩級(普通話班與其他小朋友一起上).

Wider-World-Workshop 有繁體和簡體，繁體就用廣東話教，簡體就用普通話，我諗用的課本不一樣。

Hi Kareese,
Can you please share why you chose cantonese instead
of putonghua for your kid?  As it seems that putonghua
is more useful for their future.  Also simply chinese is
the official Chinese.  What do you think?

My kid's Chinese teacher told me that there are ony 1000 simplified Chinese. The rest of the characters learned are still in the regular Chinese. She suggests to let my kid stays in the simplified Chinese class so that it's easier for the kid to learn.

如果要深入認識中國文化，一定要學正體(繁體)字；如果把中文看作一種純粹溝通工具，那麼學簡體就夠了!

My son had joined Wider-World-Workshop before (P2) for 1 year and found it too boring. The teacher used traditional method. Then, I found private tutor for him and join Kumon Chinese. Kumon Chinese is okay for him because he likes reading very much. He can speak fluent Mandarin.
