Please note that I called it "disciplined to learn", not "trained to be disciplined", which I totally agree is super important. But the difference between "love to learn"and "disciplined to learn" is self-initiative. School should provide an environment that nurtures kids' strong desire to discover this world and learn more and more. I don't think I need to further elaborate here.
English is not just one of many languages, but the world language. It doesn't matter which ethnic group you belong to; English is THE language for all mankind.
Yes, of course you can start to learn ABC at secondary school. But we are talking about efficiency and effectiveness here. Everyone would understand it.
I support billingual systems and this is why I choose SC for my son. Some other ppl may opt for Chinese schools like Pui Ching. This is everyone's own choice. And this is the beautiful freedom here in HK, isn't it?

Why not disciplined to learn?

不是应该培养小朋友“love to learn"重要过"disciplined to learn"吗?"" |
