I heard that Causeway Bay branch of Victoria kindergaten is the best among difference branches in HK Island, may I know is that true? Why? I'm urgently need this information, please kindly help?

I heard most of the people said CB Branch is the best because they don't have pre-nursery class.  All K1 kids must attend the interview, like this year, they have 400 applicants for CB Branch, but totally accept 120 kids only.

Most of my friends' kids are now studying in their pre-nursery class.  They are not so smart, not talkative, but still accept.  May be if you can afford to pay, that will be okay.  Do you think pay around HK$3XXX is worth???

Anyway, I'm also waiting for their K1 acceptance letter.

我小朋友係 Victoria 讀 Pre-Nursery，唔理 smart 唔 smart 都一定會直升上 K1 架，佢學費係貴但我都覺得直得，我個小朋友日日都有機會接觸外籍老師，唔會好似其他既幼稚園一星期得一堂，我覺得比較少，起碼唔洗出去補英文先呀

其實我都有考其他幼稚園，所以我都未決定我小朋友既去向，如果讀其他幼稚園我一定會比我小朋友返英文 playgroup，至少唔會生疏先呀，其實條數米又係度

Dear esmehouse,

Do you mean Hornhill branch? My daughter applied this branch & waiting for reply for K1! One of my friends told me that the CB branch is the best because this is the HQ (main school) & the teachers should be most experienced, do you heard the same?

I've visited CB banch before, I didn't apply it because their places are shared with other non-profits orginizations. However, if this branch is really the best, I will check whether I can make change?

係呀我住東區架，我都有報 SPC，不過就 on waiting list，其實返中環都冇問題，都係我揍佢返，所以唔洗好早起身

係呀我小朋友係返 Kornhill branch 架，其實我又覺得間間都差不多，只係聽過有些家長話 CWB branch 會派位好些，其實你可以考慮讀住 Kornhill branch，到 K2 尾時要求轉去 CWB branch，因為有些家長都係咁做架

Besides, if SPC & Victoria Causeway Bay, which one you think is better??

SPC accept, waiting for Victoria CB & St Catherine.

Firstly, Victoria is my 1st choice, St Catherine is the 2nd.  After I learnt that both will accept 600-700 kids every year, I'm thinking about their standard.  In fact, most of the mama said their english are good, a lot of foreign techers, that's why we need to pay for $3xxx.

By the way, SPC pay around $15xx, after the deduction of $1000 government (maybe), what a big difference!!!

I've checked for a private english tutor costs around $400 per hour...may be he can learn more from them.

Besides, the P1 Allocate from SPC looks very good, nearly 22 to Raimondi, 12 to King's Primary, 8 to St Paul Boys.

Got a headache... my husband loves Victoria & St Catherine a lot...

As I know, St Catherine is located in Kln Tong which is quite far away! So, you let your kid go there by school bus or you can pick up everyday?

I'm living in Kowloon East.  For St Catherine, we will take school bus.  But next year, of course, return back to HK side coz I confirmed to take SPC.
