sorry, 是頭8句, 阿仔昨天背晒全部給我聽, 所以以為是全部。  阿仔係舊校巳經 train 慣多功課 (試過1晚12pages 數學補充), 他做功課速度很快, 最怕是做視藝      我們 (媽咪) 共同努力啦!

呢兩日要背埋十三課餘下的段落。

另外, 我都好討厭電話傳銷, 但收到的大部份是銀行保險&借錢, 明報的保險, 到現在還未收過BK名義的銷售電話。

阿仔爹爹週末從大陸返嚟, 見佢d煲冬瓜有明顯進步, 甚高興。 雖然背書幾辛苦, 但有效果, 都值得嘅。

聽講中樂團收費好貴喎! 我班有個同學唔參加了,妳個仔是否中樂團呀?

My son joined 中樂團. The price jumped a lot. Last year, it was $75 per lesson for 1.5 hour, but this year is around $143 per lesson for 2 hour. Quite a number of students quitted, there are only around 13 students left. The teacher said that they will try to see whether there will be any room for reducing the price in the next term.

I learnt from the English tutor centre that EMB has applied TSA format for primarty school already.   I got some idea about English subject but don't know about Chinese and Maths.  I think may be similar to BCA test in P3 & P6...

You mean there are TSA for other grades students apart from P3/P6?    

I don't really understand why EMB introduce such  unnecessary TSA/BCA tests for primary students!It's really勞民傷財policy！

I did talk with Miss Kwok and she said that 學校重視 中樂團. The high price is because of few students and high turnover. She also said that there is 中樂團 in YW College and so YWPS really want to keep this, however, it seems that the trend is learning the West not Chinese. There are over 30 students in Orchestra, which is 3 times more.

Regarding 中文科 : "會發一個密碼給各學生，之後便可上網下載聆聽內容" i.e. not necessary to buy CD for 中文科

Regarding 普通話, I need to clarify with teacher and revert to u soon.

Thank you for your info.!

I did raise the query about teaching Chinese subject in PTH last time when I met my boy's Chin. teacher and she mentioned 上網下載聆聽Chin/PTH內容. So the school really keeps the promise!

英華冇學費收入去津貼管弦樂團，導師費用要靠學員攤分可以理解，除非學校籌款去資助佢地喇！

係啫!但係一個樂團十幾二十人,一個人$75一堂,導師費便千幾蚊一堂,我唔係話分攤導師費唔"arm",不過似乎貴左d!

Apart from 導師費, there is also admin. cost, electricity cost on air conditioner and light. That's why it is more expensive if there are fewer students. It seems that there is only subsidy on sport of school team but not on 樂團.

According to past circulars from PTA, school sport teams' courses fees are cheaper than those sports興趣班 because part of those sports興趣班 fees are used to subsidy school sport teams. So, the subsidy is NOT from school.

Oh, I see. Thank you for clarification. Anyway those sport 興趣班 is not too expensive even it subsidizes the school team. It's around $50 per lesson.
