Is your child studying at this school?  How is your child feeling about the school?  My son will be at grade 7 next year and I want to enroll him in this school.  But, my problem is that he can only speak in Chinese but not reading or writing.  Do you think he will be OK?

1) the class size
2) how many class in F1
3) how many NET teacher
4) what's the school time
5) do u mind telling me yr living district, becos i know that they only accept 15% of shatin student
6) any charges other than school fee

請問是不是所有直資中學每班的人數都是三十多人？有更小班的嗎？

Maybe only those new DSS at TKO have class size of less than 30, such as Creative, Pegasus... not sure about Evangel and Logos.

Other DSS have class size of 30+ to 40+.

If 浸會王錦輝中學 is adapting similar approach of  international school, will it slim down the class size in the future instead of putting 35 students in one class?

我也是G7家長,住藍田,女兒上學四星期,好似幾開心,不過功課很少,回家後在半小時內完成,就開始看电视,打機,以前小學,就話有功課要她做,起碼花两小時,現在真沒辦法,不知其他家長有冇相同問題?

另外,前天家長會,我感到幾滿意,付了3千多學费也很值得,只是担心學習進度比其他學校慢,始終要應付公開試,懒了下來便很難追,你們也有担心嗎? 另外好像沒有看到任何quiz 或test 成績,你们也是嗎？

最後,我女兒普通話有些追不上,但評核后也有中等成績,不知其他人如何?

大家好，我同樣是G7家長，但我女兒每天都很忙像有永遠做不完的家課、溫習，每晚十點多才睡(通常要她九點半睡)每早又六點起來對着電腦，有時邊吃餐邊做 她說好像每科也有默書、quiz…

評核有成績呀？我個女冇講 請問係唔係小朋友返黎講定係有分數返黎呢？

唔知其他同學又如何呢？

Hi Jumbo,

Sorry for the late response. His mother tongue is English but he can speak fluently Cantonese but not reading or writing.

        我個女暫時ok, 功課大半個鍾完成, 跟著溫習 再睇小小英文報紙, 好滿意. 最初都有的

可否問你們的小朋友：

1) 是否全堂用英語, 因有些學校說用英語授課, 但實際上大部份時間用中文教學, 因學生不明白。

2)  現在你子女的班，是否收滿35人呢？

3) 小六成績是 band 1 才可入讀浸中 ?

My answers to Koby as follows :
1) for my daughter, yes for all subjects except Maths and Chinese.   For Maths, the teacher said she try to use Eng first.  If she finds that students cannot understand (key for Maths), she will switch to Cantonese.  I think it is OK.  
2) yes.  35 persons a class.  
3) don't know if all are band one.  I can only tell you that my daughter is band one  (mid to bottom) or band 2 (top)

I totally agree with you since I'm also agreeable to the school's vision.  Maybe I'm over-worried.

Oh, your kid needs to do homework until 10pm?! How can it be ?  Did she do home work at school?  my daughter said she completed most of them at school.  However, she is only willing to read Chinese newspaper.  For SCMP, she never opens it.  As for quiz results, I did not see it.   But I was told that both Science and Maths have quiz results
