Hi, Samuellor,

It seems that you're a big fan of SPC.  I've heard that SPC don't allow kids to bring their lunch box with sauce.  They also don't allow kids parents/maids to bring lunch box to school during lunch hour.  How did you feel towards this kind of so-called "rules"?  Let's share.

唔比工人拎飯去無咩問題喎，
只係唔想D小朋友個個都少爺小姐咁啫。
如果可以拎飯，咁體育衫、波鞋、
其他野都可以搵人拎去囉？
好幾十年前只返半日已經係咁架喇，
當時D 馬姐拎盒木顏色比少主，
盒木顏色會上左校長室，要拎入校長房拎。
咁做只係想學生有自己既責任，
任何返學既野都應該自己跟既，
要屋企人拎就唔啱喇，到今時今日轉左全日制，
咁都唔比拎飯囉，比得一樣又比得第二樣架喇。

no喇, 我覺得外人入spc, 係超級霹靂咁難lor
我上年9月send過portfolio去, standard reply, 無位, 1月再send, standard reply, 無位, 6月再send, 一樣standard reply, 無位
雖然我個女唔係一級叻女, 但都叫做學左好多課外活動, join過d比賽, 有過d獎咁....但係連chance of interview都無, 講真, 我真係輸得唔甘心
算啦, 我都放棄lu


btw, 女女有個同學仔, 細妹讀緊spn, 當然個家長識好多老師修女啦, 佢想大女(即我女女同學)入spc, 一樣死ai爛ai都唔收....無野講......

As I know, every year is different. Only a few get the place. You need to send the letter to the Principal and then wait for the interview. Usually no reply is good news. Some one will receive the reject letter. The school will call you to interview later if you don't receive the reject letter. I only get this information from my friend. You can send the letter after the lucky draw. Some of the SPK or SPN students may withdraw the place after the lucky draw.

Some is concerning about the younger sister and some concerning about the free education and so on. You know. it is hard to guarantee a place for the younger kid in the SPK or SPN. It is a big headache for the parent.

Her daughter is so smart to get a place.

My girl 自己帶飯, 拎飯壺 when she goes to school in the morning.  She likes this better than order lunch from school.

I strongly agree with you.  Those "rules" are for training up their students to be independent with self-discipline. 唔想D小朋友個個都咁少爺小姐!  The principal of SPC actually loves and cares her students very much.

So far my girl has no problem with this arrangement.  The food is still warm when she eats it at lunch time.
