唔知是否每個堂區唔同,我個堂區係3歲以上可同成人一齊果日領洗(一齊入紙申請領洗),但3歲以下就遲一日到兒童(即嬰兒)集體領洗??????

Hi wensi,

Thank you very much for your information. I have a desire to follow the religious belief and I would like my child to follow as well because she can have a better moral development.  When I finish the 慕道班 (1 and a half yr, right?), it will be summer holiday in 2007 and if it need to wait for 領洗 in Easter holiday in 2008, my child will be older than 3 yrs.  I would like to lessen her burden to attend the courses, do you know any other ways to shorten timing to finish the 慕道班?

成人完成慕道班後, 咁如果想小朋友(over 3 yrs old) 一起領洗, 就要睇下神父比唔比, 無話一定得或唔得, 對嗎?

我係在跑馬地st margaret church領洗,即復活節當晚.女女遲我一日,我女女當時有返開佢地的主日學,所以又唔知會唔會有關係呢?

Hi Intense,

The Adult Catechism Instruction Course is last for 18 months.

You can apply your daughter baptise anytime after your baptism in 2007. Infant baptism  not only arrange in Easter. It may also on Christmas or other dates. It depends on each parish practice.

Thank you. That means my child can 領洗 even before I 領洗 because according to the rule, I can only 領洗 in Easter 2008, right?  

Yes, I also want to encourage my husband to attend 慕道班.  It is quite a long term commitment, he may not have the time and spirit to attend the course now.

- No, only after your baptism

- If you start your Catechism Course on last September, you can apply your baptism on 2007 Easter . Your Catechism Course will finish on 2007 summer.
