各位 Mum,

Please help !!!!
本人好想小女入 Maryknoll, but only have 15分, so好驚太多人爭Maryknoll on 2nd round, 故又想安全D撰聖家, 有無家長知究竟大概幾多人爭1個位 for Maryknoll ???

BTW, I'm almost crazy laa since my girl have to apply for 06 P1 !!! SO Many dates/things have to remember : call the school, everyday browse the web, get the forms, make portfolio, submit form, interview......... why  ???

15 points no chance for Maryknoll in the first round.  The chance for Kln Tong 聖家 is around 20% only.  In the second round everyone has equal chance.  If I was you, I will take 聖家 in the frist round to try the 20% luck.  In the second round, of course Marryknoll la.  It's very difficult to get seat in Maryknoll in the 3rd round but you still have change for 聖家.
This is only my own experience.

But I will lose the sincere points/image when I need to knock door to Maryknoll after luckdraw, since it will have advantage if you both 1st & 2nd round put them in the ist priority ???

You said you have exp ??? if do so, what's your choice when you apply ??? Did your girl get a seat in either one ???

Totally agree with Msma and Tmma. The chance is less than 1% if you have not:
- specail relationship
- a lot of awards (yr kid rank # 1 in HK at some competitions).

15 marks for Maryknoll? -- The result is definitely OUT.
As Holy Family is a good enough school, I would recommend you not to waste your choice la. Though 15 marks may not be accepted by Holy Family, there is still the chance.

I also agree with Msma, Tmma,m1m1sam  and Amyony.  The chance for knock door to Marynoll is less than 1%, I heard that if you want to knock door for P2, you girl has to be the top in in the whole grade and provided your girl's school is sort of band one school.

If you put your application to holy family, if you miss your first chance, you still have second and third chance ma, otherwise, your girl may be end up to no where.

If you only got 15 marks and if you prefer Maryknoll, you should still try Maryknoll because even if Holy family admit you, you have already given up the best school to your child.

As the second round is about luck only, everybody have equal chance. At least you have tried your best to secure the best school for your child, you will have no regret.

15 points in round #1 is absolute no chance for MCS.

I have the same situation last year so in round #1 I choose Holy Family (KlnTong) but failed.

Then in Round#2 part A I choose MCS to test my luck and Holy Family as 1st choice in Part B, and succeeded.
