I don't know if all assessments were done in the same day. I think they did it over multiple weekends (sat-sun). If I just do rough math, I think there were probably around ~250-300 children applying for a spot of 80.
The playground it was free play. All the kids started exploring around and there were assessors walking around evaluating everyone with a clipboard. In the classroom activities, it was around 6-7 students per class. 2 teachers each classroom.
Yes, perhaps running around is OK. However the way the parent acted was not liberal lol Also there must be some rules on how they select students. Even though running around is considered "liberal" - then how do you compare that child to another child who sits attentively? Hard to say really.
