正如Radiomama嘅經驗，到埋位就會明白，求人不如求己，同啲仔女一齊經歷，重邊使長篇大論講咁多野。

不過，即食麵文化揾中介都係好普遍。

有同學今年入咗美國嘅Georgetown University 讀外交，呢間學校在美國排名#22、世界排名是#324；但如果要讀法律政治國際關係, 不少美國人都同意Georgetown 還是首選。

國際間的家長和學生，若沒有好好了解外地的情況，又怎會揀到自己心水的學校。

英國也有一些大學在英國出名，但外地人未必了解。例如Durham, Loughborough.

Durham 在香港人中應該幾出名啩。

Loughborough 調低嘅冷門啲，但係其實幾好。

揀學校梗係要自己做足功課。睇大學排名唔可以好似睇小學生成績排名咁單純。

你個圈子好d啩，好多人認為Warwick 好過 Durham。我自己幫手三個英國讀AL嘅朋友子女，向他們父母解釋 Durham 係好過Warwick。

兩個都係因為問公司HR出事，覺得Warwick 出名d，排名高d。其中兩個公司有英國同事，我建議他們問英國本地人，兩個都係話Durham出名d。

Durham LLB 係多香港人識，其他都唔係好多人知。

Louborough 嘅工程及MBA課程係几勁㗎。

我當年選擇英國大學機械工程，要去銅鑼灣利園山的教育署海外升學辦事處搵資料，逐間逐間手抄，當時主要睇課程內容，有什麼 stream 可以選擇，可以入第二年？學費，生活費。當年冇排名這回事。

當年80年代，揸住個學位返香港點會搵唔到食呢！

女兒報大學時，同學多數報 Durham先過Warwick 。

Loughborough 淨係讀都橋口，其實名氣唔錯

女兒報大學時，同學多數報 Durham先過Warwick 。

你女讀國際學校，同學來自五湖四海，當然係會知道多些，特別係來自歐洲，較少只睇排名。

就算國際學校本地家長，大多數睇排名，然後period。

To be fair, Warwick 呢二十年進步好多。

但 Durham 較有個性，個人一定較喜歡。

其實只要是級數差不太遠的大學，考慮其他嘢好過只係考慮名氣同學術上嘅分別。

大家又知唔知 Oxford Brooks 其實唔錯，當然唔能夠同一二流大學比。當年佢係所有理工學院之中，數一數二

我唔否認Warwick 進步咗，所以阿仔將佢排第五志願，入到圍㗎！

我對Durham 有情意結，因為Newcastle U 源於 Durham U King’s college 。冇計！

英國讀學士嘅時候，識人讀Oxford Brooks，中規中矩，當時剛剛升格，等同理工轉理大。

我及CEO有教過Warwick MBA, 個人不覺得特別出色。我也有教兩間Auz 大學MBA，課程始終差不多，但學生質素係有分別，可能是名氣關係。

Warwick BBA Accounting and Finance 同 Deloitte 掛鉤，Deloitte未畢業已經去揀人。
阿女報 UCAS應該會加入 Durham

放諸四海，工程學系乃國之根本，永遠都是需求中的頂流。香港受地域人口所限，產業只能歸邊求存，無奈之舉吧。
剛剛回港，北京40天旅居，有驚有喜，學習到不少新知見聞，是不枉此行，有空再開新題分享互勉。
