ESF K1 2nd interview

請問有 ESF K1 2nd interview ，最後有offer 嘅機會大唔大？我見有人無2nd interview ，直接入active waiting list 或 waiting list，咁其實喺咪有2nd interview 會仲易入？我so far聽到有2nd interview 嘅都有foreign passport , 但1st interview 做得唔理想。我諗會唔會喺因為學校收唔夠foreign passport ，所以安排佢哋再in 多一次？有冇人n 無但都有2nd in? 又或者有冇人有foreign passport 但都waiting? 謝謝

I heard from the esf teacher...if they are not sure (eg. may b teachers are too busy on other students,  not collected enough information on yr child....or yr child may b moody on 1st visit, and cannot show whether he/she can communicate in Eng. etc.)
then they will call for 2nd play visit.


*I hv foreign passport + active waiting list.

Thanks for sharing. See from your previous posts, it’s wks you have applied?
Was your play visit in the morning? cases i have heard for morning play visits are either offer or active waiting list. wondering if esf really follow random number to arrange play visit schedule. If yes, you should have quite high chance to get in at last
Do you hear if afternoon play visit really get waiting list rather than active waiting list?

我朋友都有2nd interview.
佢大仔讀緊， 細佬first in 時係細仔。我朋友覺得係學校想收因為有sibling 但細仔又細可能未達標，所以俾多幾個月佢

有2nd in 嘅，睇嚟喺學校好想收嘅人（sibling/ debenture/ foreign passport...)。
假設esf 要維持70%foreign passport 30% local嘅比例，每收多幾個foreign passport，就會有返多啲位俾local；收唔足foreign ，就開唔到位俾local，否則好似幾年前俾政府捉到foreign收唔夠。學校要賺錢，就要盡可能收得多同時合比例。如果咁睇，foreign 同local不是直接競爭，反正都係排兩條隊，foreign 收到人（所以2nd in 要搵佢地），local waiting 先有得call。但如果間esf已收夠foreign passport , 咁就會連foreign passport 都要wait ，或者好似以往咁，最後問下你要唔去其他esf。
以上只喺大膽假設，大家交流下。

我覺得唔少都係foreign passport 但active waiting list

我諗正如你所講awl同2nd in 係排2條隊。esf kinder 2月中同尾都有call 過awl ，而2nd in嘅反而一直要等到3月先有得in 同call ，咁好明顯有2nd in 的唔可以話取錄機會大過awl，只喺好似你咁講，俾多次機會俾學校好想收嘅人（佢哋1st in 唔理想），反而awl嘅其實1st in已經掂左（只喺random number 唔夠前），不過學校要等有人1st round offer放位，先call 到awl

有foreign passport interview都不是萬能，有second in可能是borderline case, 我朋友有foreign passport今年都是直接被reject，佢小朋友入到去唔多講野，一講又講廣東話。

We had second in last week and got offer 2 days after the in.

the invitation of second in specifically said it's an opportunity for them to get to know you and your child better with a view to admission to the kindergarten. So I feel that this is when they want to offer you a place but did not gather enough information in the first in. My child is Dec baby, so he's small b. And in second in, they mostly want to see that he understands English and can follow instruction/respond to English.
