Agree, among many pn applications I saw, I only find St cat is very special that it requires parents to fill in the the name of secondary school & primary school we studied. It's very clear that st cat concern that on their choice of students. If the parents are alumni from those famous school, the chance of having the kids go to these school are certainly higher (emoji)selection bias

很中肯。 其實大部分家長係target唔同小學market. 雖然唔少家長兩間都報，但其實心入面有決定邊間係水泡（傳統定國際）。家長投放資源讀PG其實係想小朋友學到野之余又多小小機會入到幼稚園，但你爬文就知跟本沒有任何保證。老實講我都打定輸數，因為競爭實在太大。我今年見維記，最有印象係2nd interview 那天等見主任時撞正好多小朋友番學時間，老師真的好caring.

有一個小女孩入門時不大開心想哭，女老師撫摸她的臉，很憐惜地抱起她安慰她問她什麼事不開心。另有一個小女孩一入門口另一男老師經過同她high five問今天她想自己成為什麼，她很開心很自信説是scientist.老師笑著問她想好某主题（我忘了是什麼）講什麼句子嗎？她想了一會話未，老師呵呵笑説不要緊，待會再想想。很多小朋友都和老師很開心打招呼。

這些都是看到的。

利申：我有報st cat但是家裡有事去不到。 所以不是比優劣，純粹講維記

自己兩個囝都是維記生，當年沒有考St.Cat，一心只想讀維記。維記語境一流，基本上經過幾年學習，同學仔英普對答如流，因為除了外籍老師和普通話老師做班主任外，同學仔亦有一些是以英語或普通話作為母語的，所以小朋友已習慣每天用兩文三語溝通。老師愛心滿溢，部分老師會經常同你WhatsApp或電話傾小朋友情況，又歡迎家長一起參與課堂學習。上至校長，下至管理員、工友都笑住迎接同學返學，小朋友真係好鍾意返學。我真係俾足100分！

Not only SC asks for this information. However, if you see the SC PN class students, not too many parents are famous school alumni ...
Some SC students even live in public housing....

But for Victoria...I think no one will live in public housing right?

I think no one will think SC choose students background more than Vic does.

Yes, my son loves to go to school and both his class teacher is good, they really care.

我個大女當年SC同Vic都收到offer, 但最終都揀咗SC。原因係我地諗到第日真係未必有能力送佢出國，所以都會揀local stream。佢宜家K2，我唔覺得佢好吃力。講真，SC學費都唔算平，但我個女每日同放假都會期待返學，佢話學校好好玩。但我自己嘅感覺，SC好細就開始有discipline。
我亦有朋友嘅小朋友讀Vic，部份繼續上維記小學，有啲去咗ESF，亦有中途考CCKG走咗。維記係另一類嘅happy school，但我嘅朋友就算讀IB都會外補。而維記好細就train 得好小朋友嘅自理同thinking process.
所以都係睇番你自己嘅能力，想小朋友响邊類嘅環境長大。我自己作為兩女之母，要養唔容易，再者太大壓力俾自己，繼而無形轉架落小朋友身上，先係要留意嘅地方。明白每位父母都想俾最好嘅自己啲小朋友，所以要自己去衡量各方面嘅意見同能力去決定。

我都覺得間學校好嚴(雖然現在只是返playgroup)。不過都要睇下收唔收先諗讀唔讀，唔收就唔使諗啦⋯⋯

都幾同意你嘅講法。
咁如果st cat 入唔到，但又想target 本地名小學，咁可以點做? 就係要外補? 咁樣無形中又變成增加佐小朋友學習時間? 請各位指教，thx

No, her child no join artplus, 可能佢真係好彩, 所以我唔相信vic只收background 好嘅家庭
