Learning Habitat in Lohas Park has a strange principal, although they seem popular. Parents complain about the amount of homework given to the kindergarteners.
Actually a lot of the parents like it. They do have their strong points.
I will try to summarize like this:
Positives:
- language teaching seems to be strong
- the teachers are nice with passion
Negatives:
- the classrooms are too crowded (28 students in a relatively small classroom)
- doesn't seem to allow the students to pick and choose (i.e. a 'forcing' type of teaching method)
- could be better if the students are allowed to be more independent
- homework every Friday (too much in my opinion)
- not multi-cultural (I think every student is a Chinese if I am not mistaken)
- no outdoor area for outdoor activities
- as there are too many students in a class (28 in total), the students aren't receiving enough individual attention in my opinion
