請教心得減少careless mistake

我囝小一生，為人心急。已經教佢做完功課，默書，quiz 要學double check，但總有careless mistake .佢又唔係唔識做就來第一次考試。好擔心。

必經階段, 除非你由他幼稚園開始幫他操開卷.

要幫佢操卷去改善?

佢地好先入為主，認為岩，就岩。点Double check都一樣。我今日見到我囡D測驗卷，全部錯唔小心，比佢激死。不過，佢自己都心痛D分比人扣晒

見一次提一次，讓他慢慢改善，急不來。

睇清楚題目，因為這是習慣。大題目睇清楚，問題字間住做記号，我見囡囡拎滿分的部分是有mark住。另外抄字小心抄，供詞系就算識寫都要對一對，字要比平時有心机寫但又不能寫得慢。數學不能漏单位……。這些是小一教，大大下，佢地就會唔記得，会又系錯唔小心了。所以成為習慣，次次提下。

我講咗提咗求咗千幾次就快吐血，大小姐還是照錯不誤，好想哭。

其實 careless mistake 只係藉口. 錯就是錯, 沒有 careless 的.
而經常出錯, 代表其實唔係太熟, 所以成日出錯.

我都唔同意，因為份卷返到黎重做一次時係全對，證明佢係唔小心！

Children are children, they do make mistakes...as time goes by, they will be changed for certain.  

However during the transition period, there's way to train.  e.g. first you have to know how he/she reads questions, that's you have to know how do they commit mistakes.  Is it related to reading questions in disorderly way, they can't understand the question, they lack the organisation, or they simply just not read through the whole question.

Many of them always assume they know how to tackle the question just by the impression the question appears.  Then they fall into the trap:  actually the more important clues lies in the end of the question,e.g. the question is written in cm, but then the answer is asked to put in m.  etc.

Agree. And also when they face time pressure, sometimes they blur up.

Yes.  Reasonable amount of  pressure to encourage them to improve, as well as letting go certain pressure at the right time when facing the exam.  Regarding how much is reasonable, this definitely depends on characters of the child.  
Therefore, you would hear some parents would put less pressure at smaller age so that the children can learn the right attitudes as opposed to only technical skills.  At lower grade, the academic results are far less important.  So buy time to train up the children's attitudes and soft skills rather than only technical knowledge. When children are under less pressure, they are more receptive to taking on things other about the at than school works, e.g. attitudes and moral values.

我聽聞是, 不是本人直接認識。個小朋友本身已經醒，再加埋操卷操到好謹慎，懂check 卷，贏哂!

如果大家可以甘去理解考試，可能可以分出熟唔熟內容，同小唔小心的分别。考試就是在指定時間內，以新學的知識(例如上學期課程)，去完成—份文件{試卷)，由於唔知做唔做得完，必定做得急，所以—定會出錯。事後看一定是唔小心或唔識二個原因。但做卷其間，就祗有唔熟—個原因，你唔熟，趕住做，點會唔錯呀！熟的，操過卷，自然錯小D。但當然有人會覺得小心D就可以改善啦！有此想法的人，可將心願寫在日曆上，到改善了，就知道要用多少時間啦！

我個人經驗話俾我知, 要達至最高級的成績, 背後要負出的努力並不是均等的. C級 / B 級 / A 級的分別, 不是線性關係, 要達到 A 級水平, 背後要負出的努力可能比 C級 多出以倍數計.
情況同體育運動一樣, 平時訓練做到100%, 但到落場比賽就會打折扣, 只能做出平日的 70% 至 80%. 所以要致勝, 平時就要做到 110% 甚至 120%, 咁先可以跑出.
寫到一舊舊, 希望大家明我寫咩.

doesn't worth to put too much effort in junior levels! Try to focus on building up the vocabs and train for correct attitude is much more important! 留前鬥後！
