Yes, Mrs. Craig is getting married during Easter Holiday.  My boy told me Mrs. Craig now call Mrs.xxx.  I can't get the correct spelling.  I think the school should notice us if she really need to change her name.  How's your girl's classteacher?  How's her Chinese standard?

Mrs. Craig is a very good teacher.  I find the job of a classteacher is not a easy job.

I think the rental charges is around 13k - 14k.  You better check with the agency.

Which grade is your son in SJS?  I think there has 3 parents teacher meeting per year.  Except parents teacher meeting, there has some activities like performance, x'mas party..... that you can have option to join or not.

Regarding the level of reading, you can see it in the books your son bring back home.  Each book has a label to mention the level.

Sorry, it's late to reply.
其實點都係唔多功課,P2時得 Spelling and reading.Spelling( look, cover, and write) 重係1星期1次,得5隻字
P3下學期開始有 Maths or Sci,但都係唔多,最多1星期1張page.

I am happy to have a sharing forum here. My son is studying in KJS P1. I don't like his class teacher. She is very very seldom to write comments on my son's dairy book. Maybe I am a working mum too, so I have a little of chance to talk to his teacher (only in the parent's day). How's your teacher in other ESF schools? Up to this moment, I still don 't like her, only my son.

Hi IngridMaMa,

Would you mind to share with me how did you teach your daughter chinese? How old did she start to learn chinese? Whick school and Where did she learn? A private teacher (one by one??) from beginning until now??
As I do agree that Chinese is very important and we should not give up! But I am not patient enough to teach my daughter chinese. Would you mind to share your experience??
Did you teach her Mandarin as well?

Your daughter is really a clever girl, how can she has such high grade in english reading. Do you teach her Phonic too? When did you start?
