這個我也留意到, 城大 score 是這樣寫的:
Weighted Admission Score of 4 Core + 2 Electives with highest weighted scores

因為初初比較阿女想讀的 Creative Media 時, 發覺今年的 median 要 28, 心想: 阿女冇希望了! 後來再細閱, 才明白原來英文科 score 乘了 2.

請問今屆的 cut-off score 和上屆接近嗎? 我記得上年你列了第一屆的 cut-off score, 而我也記下了, 阿女是第三屆, 所以想知道第二屆如可. 謝謝!

原則上我贊成要有加權，特別是非神科，因為普通科目收生分數十分接近，尤其是中下限。越清楚收生選修科重點，對大學及學生都是好事，減少錯配！
三改四之後，收生方法嘗試仿效美制，以語文、數學加通識，是旦加科選修。但大學的專業神科仍然行英制，不是研究院才專攻，所以334唔會咁容易扭轉教授及大學的思維。每間大學都想收到優秀學生，如何現行方法不行，必定另覓出路，最後是在兩個制，度之間作出平衡。

神科會跟舊制，普通科會在兩者之間。但畢業生的質素是改善了抑或退步了，要等三、五年後才知曉。

多謝你的提點, 不過小女不是讀神科的料子, 她選的都是有關文化藝術的課程, 以我所搜集的資料, portfolio + interview 的比重亦很高, 遇着主觀性強的教授, 分分鐘冇運行, 真是要小心行事.

中四選科基本資料 - HKU

跟以前一樣，我先提供表格及數據，讓大家先有全局觀，然後再細緻分析。

我先用港大作例子，然後是理大及科大，因為工程浩大，我不會全部八間大學都詳細分析，但我會引用khmama一些資料，當然我會更新。大家要留意khmama都是集中她女兒的選科及興趣，大家要做功課，不能照單全收。

我想問遲啲會唔會有中大數據及分析。Thankyou!

我相信不會，我一開始已經講明只提供港大、科大及理大作參考而已。
我鼓勵家長跟孩子一起做，一起分析，不是單單 Spoon Feed。

It's difficult to compare among different qualifications. If you know how they evaluate individual qualification, you will understand how difficult to draw the line.

For HD, with relevant electives and high GPA, the students can admit into Year 2 or even year 3, so individual consideration is a must, not as simple as JUPAS.
