HYPS vs APSKT

Sigh, we want APSKT but our girl wants HYPS.....

Follow her choice then.  Won't be too bad to go for either schools.

不如今晚同女女好好傾下
始終9月1日前, 都必定要做決定

APS, 私小, 課程較全面, 但要付學費.  如能名列前茅
真係ST PAUL CO ED, DGS, 完全冇問題

而協恩, 津校來說, 學程都好好
但每年亦有不少入插入協恩
因此在協恩要做到名列前茅
真的非容易
加上入到協恩, 普遍都係上繼續上協中

樓主, 你們一家想想最終女兒讀那類型中學, 盡快作決定吧
始終, 男女校 vs 女校, 亦是一個重要因素

6-yr old already has strong opinions.  But I will explain to her the benefits of APSKT vs HYPS again tonight.

Becoz I am alumni of APSKT, I know how it was at APSKT.  At HYPS, it is a big unknown for me.  I want co-ed.

比我會試下調轉諗，好多時家長會話，在xx學校讀到頭幾多，就可以去到邊d名中學
問題是，禁個制咁簡單?6年之後o既野冇法擔保
所以我有時諗，如果我係比較差o個10%，我會去左邊間學校?同埋以呢個課程，我上中學係咪都不太差?

超叻o既，兩間都可入DGS。
好叻o既，入HY中學比APS大，HY是頂級名女校，絕不失禮。
冇咁叻o既，分別唔大，不過APS壓力應該大好多。

我覺得樓主應該諗清楚，DGS是否真的適合你囡囡？估計你也有考DGJS但唔收，好多野勉強是沒有幸福。

快點決定，放番個位出來啦，幸福的媽咪！

今年小六, 我知約有2個入到DGS

但聖心下午, 我知, 有4個收

都係果句, 好多協恩女, 多數會心儀番協中

今屆開始冇優勢上中學

Well, I know two girls, one in APS while the other in HYPS. Both got very good result in their respective schools. Both couldn't enter DGJS in P1. The former one has tried DGJS again at P2 and P3. For whatever reason, she couldn't enter. She was not only outstanding in academic, but also many other aspects.  The latter didn't tried DGJS any more. She was also very outstanding in many other aspects. She is devoted to HYPS and enjoys school life there. If your target is DGS, no doubt APS has good track record to enter DGS. You also need to consider the factor if your girl is willing to say bye bye to all her friends in HYPS. Mindful that before the start of the six years school life, it seems that she has already started building up her devotion to the school, not mentioning the great peer pressure she will face when she is P6.

To sum up, if your target is DGS, APS should be a better choice.

如小朋友體藝都優秀
在協恩一定更合適

She has strong talent for speech, drama and singing.

She likes English and Chinese a lot.

Correct. APS has a proven edge in this aspect.  No one knows what rank your girl belongs to after 6 yrs!
