Give him lot of leisure time but no TV & computer game!:

For those whose kids can write so well in English, may I ask whether they can write well in Chinese too?  If yes, may I seek your advice on how to encourage them to write Chinese?  I ask this question because my daughter is very weak in writing Chinese, though she can write diary and many stories in English since K2.  Thanks.

Olive the Reindeer Dog (By Josh at 7)

One hour before Christmas Eve in Greenland there lived a dog called Olive! Olive quickly went to the market to buy food. He saw a chocolate reindeer. Then he thought about Santa Claus. Olive quickly ran th North Pole! He asked Santa, "Can I please be a reindeer?" Santa chuckled,"Yes!" Olive was very happy. So Santa tied a string onto Olive's body and the other end onto the reindeer's neck! Mrs Claus said,"I will make a gingerbreadman parade after you come back."

They were ready to go! Santa said,"1,2,3 let's go!!!" The reindeer flew up, up and away. Along the trip, Santa slept on the sleigh. So they crashed into a tree. Santa woke up all of a sudden. Olive barked. Olive untied the string that were stuck in the tree. At last they went again!!

Part 2

All of the ride was fantastic, Santa gave many gifts. The reindeer said,"We are very hungry and tired!" Then Santa said,"If you're hungry we better faster get back quickly to the North Pole." Ten minutes later they were in the Artic Circle but they didn't move because there was a fog.

Santa asked Olive,"Can you smell Mrs Claus's Gingerbreadmen?" "Yes" said Olive. So Olive brought them back to Santa's workshop. Then Santa gave the reindeer presents. The last present was for Olive. It was his own pair of antlers. Then they ate the gingerbreadmen. At last they played reindeer games with Olive!!
