York, HKPS and St. Cat. 如何排位？

I only apply this 3 kindergarten. Got York PN(PM)offter, did HKPS interview last Sat. and going to apply St. Cat. next Thur. Anybody knows how many kids apply each of them?

三間都係英文好的學校
我都係排york第三
ST cat 同hkps 都好好，一間四十年歷史，一間九年。一間超大校三個校舍k1幾百個學生，一間細校小班得4班。
論名氣st cat 大，論難入應是hkps。
有同事說hkps好d，但我唔識人讀hkps, ST cat PN 又新, 唔知課程好唔好, 地點也要考慮
好難排，我諗我排

論pn，我會hkps >sc>York
York 一定排尾，hkps和sc差不多，但hkps有室外playground，sc 新校只有室內和無校車，所以排第二

HKPS interview schedule arrange not
maturity.
York with introduce by principal and warm up for all kids before interview, also, arrange schedule quite good with experience.  And good environment for kids.

Any HK Island parents planning to apply for St. Cat PN? We live in Ap Lei Chau and we are struggling between long distance of travel and good quality of PN....

排名都要睇排乜架由面試安排只可看到一部分

同意!  interview 安排睇的主要係admin 方面, 平時點會一日有千幾個小朋友, 幾千個家長出入學校喎.  去到interview 可能睇埋校舍設施.

但點排位應以老師教學課程為先.

排我接觸佢教職員nice既程度 : york=hkps>sc(之前打過電話去問收生日期, 幾次都很悔氣)

排校舍 : york>hkps (sc唔知, 不過無戶外playground就差少少)

排課程同老師教學水準 : 呢樣好重要, 但其實我都只可看網頁的教學理念, 方法, 但好似太high level, 實際o係到讀會係點, 我就真的不很了解, 因為無家長會讀過晒三間, 但聽個個都話三間都讀得開心, 學到野.  

你話sc畢業生係咪一定醒過其餘兩間?  咁我又不太認同.  不過, 您講出黎又真係入到sc, hkps會虛榮d, 因為名氣大ma.  以上只是我個人意見, 很主觀的.

80% agree with you, yslgirl!

It's very trouble to get an application form from St. Cat. We have to drop the info. and cheque into a big box they provided, but can't get the application form immediately. The staff will post the form to us. Wasting time and postage. It might be a long long queue on the day(8/12). I guess most parents will go to St. Cat on the first day of applying  PN coz 先到先得，派完即止. I went to St. Cat(Hunghom) and talk to a staff face to face today. Her attitude is so so, just told me to check the website for the details and come back on 8/12. Then she shut the door quickily. A bit rude...

Compare with other 2, teachers from York are very nice and helpful. HKPS is good too. York's facility and the environment are also the best among the 3 kindergarten. St. Cat(Hunghom) doesn't have outdoor playground. The HKPS's one is a bit old and messy. However, St. Cat's reputation is the top one. Heard that Kelly Chan's son study there as well.

Ap Lei Chau 去hung Hom ST cat 真係好遠，這麼遠未必有校車，自己接送要留意成個紅磡朝早都traffic jam 到爆（本人紅磡返工，朝朝經過海濱南岸對面）。坐mtr 要行十五分鐘左右到st cat.  建議你自己試一次路程，想想能否接受每天帶2歲小朋友行呢條路
