維多利亞除左語文好, 仲有咩好?

特別係銅鑼灣, 點解d人個個都爭住入呢? k1-k3冇學券, 其實係唔係肯比錢就收呢?

I have 2 kids studying at Victoria, think their language skill is good in general when compared to local kids. Other than that, they really like going back to school and learn there which I think is very important.

However, drawback of Victoria is, they learn writing only in K2 while other famous local KG start writing in K1.

Compared to local KG, Victoria has less homework to do, thus if u are looking for more relaxing and happy KG life for your kids, think u can consider putting your kids there.

多謝你既意見。我對寫字冇咩要求, 我自己o係屋企都可以教佢。我知道佢地訓練到小朋友既英語能力同普通話能力高, 但唔知佢地既課程同出面強調自己活動教學既本地幼稚園有咩分別? 我希望小朋友能夠有多d機會自己體驗學習, 多思考, 學習解難, 而唔係有好多時間坐o係課室聽老師講野。另外唔想太冇紀律。唔知維多利亞呢方面做成點呢?

Undoubtedly that interactive-base school will have less discipline coz they stress to let their kids freely, unlike those very traditional one. But it doesn't mean they will have no discipline at all. Unless u put her in those very strict school like True Light, SH, if not, I don't see much difference.

沒有任何幫助及很難考到直資及私小...我朋友的小朋友讀Causeway bay's Victoria考12間學校只有一所容易校的收他, 其他無機連Victoria小學都吾收番, 上年尾攪到要幫細女即刻考一條龍女考於今年重讀K1啊!  朋友話考學校考到驚, 吾想再來過啊!  哈哈!

you can refer to their website for P1 placement.  for CWB campus their P1 placement seemed quite good last year.

My son is on the waiting list in Victoria (Causeway Bay), that means Victoria is begin to call the waiting list?

I am also very concerned about the P1 placement.  The message is very confusing.  WHile some parent said that the placement is very bad, some other claim that it is good...

我個人覺得一d都唔關學校事, 如果家長咩都依賴學校去教去學的, 小朋友考小學就會10間10間都唔收, 有一間收已經好好彩了. 除非個小朋友天生醒目.  

e家無論讀咩學校的小朋友都會出去學課外活動, 因為世上跟本無一間學校係prefect的, 要英文好, 就要出去學中文, 要academic就要出去學英文. fair enough!

Another adv is that kinder student can easily study at victorial primary school.

U can see their P1 allocation in their website! Unless it is a through-the-train school which u can ensure your P1 seat, no KG can guarantee where your kids will go.

會唔會係個人問題呀, Victoria 好 open 喎, primary allocation 可以係佢地web page 睇到, 我好欣賞, 其他所謂名幼稚園都唔敢post primary allocation 出嚟.
