7/10 - HKUGA (1st int, 2nd round)
8/10 - DBS (very likely; letter not rec'd yet)
9/10 - Kau Yan
10/10 - St Stephen's (very likely; letter not rec'd yet)

"Very likely" - because these schools arrange interviews based on date of submission of application form.  For DBS and St Stephen's, we submitted the form very early on the 1st day and on the 2nd last day, respectively.

Yes, I have checked with St Stephen's by phone.  They told me the "first come, first interviewed" basis.

Also my friend submitted the form on 20 Sept and has already received written notification for the interview time of 10/10 afternoon.  She and I have both chosen Cantonese as the medium of interview.

When will your child be interviewed?  On 9/10 or 10/10?  am or pm?

Another phone enquiry to SPCC this morning:

1. They are still in the process of sending out notification letters "according to existing procedures".
2. Up to now, the latest interview date for despatched interview notifications is 2 Oct.
3. They usually give about 1 week's advance notice from the date of the notification letter for the interview.
4. The expected last 1st int date is 26 Oct, though they want to make it earlier so long as circumstances allow.
5. The school has received more than 2,300 applications this year, a historical high.

有，25/9同2/10就係星期六。佢地星期一至星期六都會面試。

似乎聽故事答問題/重複故事今期好流行，好多學校都用呢招。

所謂配對卡遊戲，係搵兩張相同o既卡，定係將兩張性質類似o既卡 (例如紙+筆)配對?

有d人覺得，雖然每個人都有權分享面試內容，但佢分享完其他家長可以針對性訓練小朋友，變相令自己個小朋友同埋其他已面試o既小朋友蝕底左，特別係SPCC o既面試期接近一個月，要針對性訓練亦非完全不可。o係呢個角度，vaga o既講法係成立o既。

不過，話分兩頭，學校面試唔係淨係睇你答得o岩唔o岩，仲要睇埋點答，有無禮貌同創意，呢d唔係一時三刻可以訓練到；題目相信亦唔係個個一樣，玩o既野亦未必一樣。我好相信，校方一定知道家長會互相通水，所以每組小朋友都會有d變化，所以我未面試都只會將已分享o既題目當參考，唔會刻意要小朋友背熟d答案。

I only apply 4 schools and haven't that kind of worry.  But still, hope everything will be smooth on your side ! Your son must have a good offer as he has a great dad!!! Cheers!!!

Received news from a friend:
1. Non-related, Christian
2. submitted the form on the last day (10/9)
3. Notification letter dated 22/9, envelop date stamp 26/9 (Sunday!), interview date 2/10 (Sat)

I think it won't be long before the non-related, non-Christians will start to be interviewed.

I'm still hoping the interview date and time won't clash with scheduled interviews...

The letter was probably dated on 30/9 or before so the notice is about a week.

If you read my previous post, my friend received the letter dated 22/9 on 29/9 and the interview date was today!

1. 甚麼日期/時間交表                  7/9 PM
2 甚麼日期收信                         2/10
3 甚麼日期/時間1st in                8/10 PM
4 是否有關係及/或同宗教   NOT related/ non Christian

The actual notice period should be counted from the date stamp on the envelop.  No mail is delivered on 1 Oct.

One of my friends received the notification today and will be interviewed next Tue (5/10), i.e. even shorter notice!

It's already a blessing that the interview dates and times do not clash.  Going to school is not a top priority in this period.
