KCIS 係 British National Curriculum，curriculum 與 ESF相同；除 mandarin 老師外，所有老師都係 native english speaker；因為有外籍 or 唔識中文既同學 (由外地到港/回港)，加上有些小朋友在其他 international kinder (e.g. Woodland, Sunshine House, etc) 轉入 KCIS primary，以英文為第一語言，所以小朋友日常皆以英語交談(包括在校內、生日會、play days, etc)；學校每日有50分鐘由 native mandarin teacher 教中文&中國文化，用 local 同級中文書 (e.g. year 2 用 local P1 longman 中文書；year 3 用 local P2 longman 中文書)，每日均有中文功課 (e.g. 讀課文3次/抄寫詞語/作業/閱讀報告等)，所以中文程度會比其他國際學校高；個人亦不覺英文程度比其他 IS 差。
不過外籍同學就較少 (compare with Woodland and some ESF primary)，不太國際化；另外，campus 亦較舊 & ECA 較少。

Yes! My son just start P2 in KCIS this year. The Chinese homework is quite heavy for a international school..... but I like it. Although the school facility is very old, but my son can have better Chinese education and learn“飯”体字 compared with ESF.

My boy is in P2W. The teacher is Ms Wilcokson. Someone told me that she is a good teacher. But she is pregant and only teaches two months and come back on April again. My boy is so unlucky. How about your child? what classs is he/she?

Do you read the e-mail from Mrs. Daniel today? I'm glad to hear that a KCIS student got 40 points in IBD. Do you know who is he/she? Is he/she studied from KCIS primary to secondary? Cheers.
