I think I am using the same specialist as you.  I will choose the quick one and 透明 for my son as well. Is the doctor very good? We have been there once for assessment and will go there next Monday to 上第一次落橡筋 in 大牙, hope everything will go smoothly. I noticed that there were many many clients there... 最心痛唔係四萬幾費用, 最赤係要阿仔脫2 隻牙, (遲下可能脫多一隻), Did your son need to take out some teeth? Many thanks for sharing

We have finally chosen the quick brace and transulent (for upper teeth).

The dentist is very professional and skillful (at least looks like), and I share the same feeling with you that in the first few visits, he seems very cool, but he always suggests various ways for best result.  

Hope our children will have the best result after the 'torture' :)
My son has just been there for the 2nd step (to secure the rings on the lower 大牙), and will have full braces next week.  So far, he does not have much strong and bad feelings on the 橡筋, 鐵圈..

Sorry, 好耐沒有上這個討論區.

我仔仔只用了15 months 就完成整個 cool 牙程序, 過程好好, 效果亦好好 !
大部份要 cool 牙的小朋友也要脫牙, 只是2 隻, 4 隻 or even 6 pieces. since they have problems of big teeth and the space in 牙骨cannot accomodate their teeth nicely, so there is a need remove some and pull the rest together and 令他們不再有哨牙的問題.

The removal of 2 teeth on upper jaw of my son is a must problem, because of biting problem, the whole bracing process took only 15 months.  It is quick and efficient.  Not painful.
