Yes, she asked me who take care of the girl? Which school your girl study in? Why you choose TSL? What language do you use at home? Apart from me, the teacher did ask other parents too.

My girl said the test was very interesting. She enjoys the interview and she ask me is there any more.

My girl also, she likes the interview there, and she asked me whether there would be 3rd round interview.  3rd round!!!??? no la! the kids don't know how worry we are!

My son also very enjoy the interviews at TSL (both 1st & 2nd), apart from those generally question, he said the teacher also ask him whether he can speak Japanese & French.

我囡囡係9:30,4樓果層考,佢第一次in就有d驚但第二次就話好開心,只係玩三個遊戲,1. 揾相同圖案連線,2. 如有相同圖形就圈住yes or no,3. 排列四張圖再講故事,最後就只係問左我囡囡"你覺得自己玩遊戲叻唔叻呀".我問囡囡Miss有冇講英文佢又係話冇,只係講過good morning係英文.
唔知今次2nd in會收幾多人呢?仲會唔會有第三次筆試呢(上年有)?但果日收問卷個miss話年年收生方法都唔同.有專業人仕設計喎!我老公又話佢在禮堂聽到有人問sir如果冇得2nd in即係仲有冇機會,個sir話冇機會喇,咁咪即係依次係最後一轉,但我同事話佢仔仔(在譚歐陽讀)大部份都冇得2nd in,最衰果日我驚到手騰腳震,咩都唔記得問,請問大家有冇人問個依個問題?

Hello Wing,

As Gavin mentioned, the interview has been conducted in both English & Chinese, total 30 questions and one picture discription.  The duration for this interview is around 35 mins.

My girl told me the interview was conducted ALL in English. Yes, there were 3 games. When the teacher asked her to tell the story of 4 pictures. She spoke n Chinese. The rest she spoke in English. If you really got the seat, I will have a headache in choosing school. Should I give up the Lucky Draw????

I also feel headache about how to choose if my son gets a seat in TSL that I need to give up the Lucky Draw.

I have an offer from TsunTsang, I like the curriculum as well as it has its related secondary school, but the school is old and facilities are not really well-equiped. School start time is too early.

My son told me that he likes TSL instead of Tsun Tsang.

Any comment?

Me too. 原因是我有兩個囝囝, 經濟負擔都幾重, 但又想幫佢地搵間好d嘅學校,有時都幾矛盾.

May I ask the parents who are granted second interview with TSL whether their children are attending the "famous" Kowloon Tong kindergardens or just "local" ones ?

I don't live near Kowloon Tong and prefer my daughter to study at a kindergarden nearby.  Will this be a disadvantage for her to enter TSL in future?

My son is not studying in "famous" kowloon Tong Kinder but granted 2nd interview & around 7-8 of his classmates too, but what you mean "local"?

I think TSL are more concert on the English standard or your kid instead of which "famous" kinder, but this is what "famous" kinder the advantage they have.

I am not sure whether my son can be admitted or not but surely kids from any kinder will have same chances if they have at least good oral English standard. (My own opinion only)

Thanks a lot for your comment.  Actually, what I meant by local kinders are the ones that are close to home, since travelling to Kowloon Tong would take around 30-40mins for my kids.  

It's good to know that kids from non-famous kinders can still get a good chance for entering TSL. My husband and I intend to spend more time to teach our kids English at home instead of spending huge amount of money on those billigual and famous kinders.  (the sum does add up when you have two kids) !

Again, I wish your kid good luck with TSL and hope to hear some good news from you real soon.

If TSL is your dream school then you will have some confident on non-famous kinders now as my son was admitted by TSL and he was 細仔 too.

Be honest, i have head-ache now since i am still struggling whether to take this offer or not. I want to try the lucky draw but not sure what is the outcome.

My girl got the seat too.... headache... should I go for th elucky draw??? It seems that it is hard to get the seat for TSL.. what should I do??
