my daughter asked me to prepare 樹葉 and 石頭 for school on Monday night.  we put them in the envelope and my daughter gave it to the teacher.  Last night, she said she needs to prepare 3 more pcs of 樹葉.  so these 2 nights, we went out to pick up 樹葉.  did your kids ask the same thing?

She asked me to bring ball, baby toy, tooth brush before.

haha, your girl is smart so she remember the instruction from teacher.  since my daughter asked to bring leaf twice, just wondering if she forgot something else.

不過最近天雨,好難揾到乾樹葉.

When my daughter study in K1, towel&hand cream(for donation purpose), stone, leave(for topic Autumn) are need.  Be trust of your child, it is one purpose of teaching method between teacher, parent & child.  Teacher will tell yr child bring something(not all class & group the same timing) back to school on destinate date.  On the other hand, it is also a testing whether yr child understand their teacher's instruction and communicate with u.  Therefore, trust yr child.  If they miss or express wrongly, they will suffer by themselves(don't mind).

My daughter did not told me that
teacher asked her to bring hand cream,
but I found she put my hand cream in
her school bag last week.

I asked her why she put ma ma's cream in school bag, and I told her there is no need to bring hand cream to school.

She explained to me that teacher asked her to do so, but I did not trust her, because she used to like my handcream sooo much,  I told her that teacher will give ma ma phone call or write in handbook if she want you bring something school.

I just learnt today that the teacher really asked her to do so.

如果你哋嘅小朋友(K1)係同班&同組先好交換消息,不過下學期就算同班&同組都會有機會每個小朋友唔同,不如早D TRAIN UP小朋友.其實TEACHER早就估倒D家長會交換情報,佢哋教咗咁多年,哈哈哈...

i think the teacher asked the kids
to different task,
one girl who was in same group with my daughter was asked to bring 5 pieces of leafs,
while my daughter insisted teacher asked her to bring 4 leafs only.

My daughter told me something about picking leaves in the garden last thursday.  But i thought she was mentioning some school activities only.  After i read this post, i ask my girl again; she said she needs to bring some leaves to school.  The strange thing is when i ask her if any classmates in her group bring any leaf to class, she said no but then she said her head teacher has requested THEM to bring leaf??  She really confuses me

佢好認真講老師吾会鬧傢,老師話下次記得帶返就得囉...

我見全個星期佢嗰組都有小朋友交樹葉,記得就交...星期五一放学見到我,佢就話要交抹手紙...真係一項好好的訓練俾小朋友.

i asked whether she gave the leafs or teacher found the leafs in her sch bag, and my daughter said it was only teacher took from sch bag.

i asked did teacher praised you, she said no, but teacher only asked why the leafs are so green.

我諗都係, 應該有分唔同數量, 顏色同size.

我個女都強調1 pc. only (但我係都 pick 佐2塊比佢 timm ..... ), 佢話老師話黃色 or 綠色都可以, 不過, 要大塊的, 同埋係要跌佐落地果 d (我諗老師叫佢地唔好摘樹上的).

If the leaves so green, teacher may think u're pick up in the moring n from the tree(I guess).  It is no good to teach yr kids like this.  U can teach yr kids the leaves will turn from green to yellow (natural) when the leaves fall down.  Remember it is not a homework.  It is a positive teaching of natural with the theme "Autumn".
