如果大家有去看舊post, 就會知道林校長有特異功能---觀人於微.  所以小朋友閱讀什麼, 中文定英文, 發音正唔正....不是重點. 主要應該是看小朋友有冇信心, 知唔知校長叫拒做咩, 知唔知讀緊咩....可以講天馬行空,咩都睇...所以建議帶本小朋友好有信心既書,內容不用深, 最好是對整個故事滾瓜爛熟, 有自己comment就更好.

已經in咗2nd in，我仔仔話校長任佢選讀中文or英文，只要讀兩頁，佢仲話間房有玩具。不過冇問佢其他問題﹗真係唔知校長點選?

参加了第一轮面试，觉得学校的安排很妥当，感觉不错，我儿子都说老师很友善。只是有一点想学校注意，就是ground level有盖操场的男洗手间卫生情况很不好，地上都是污水。

聽人講見面試見到小朋友有帶"變形x剛"英文書, 看來佢d英文咁勁呀

都有可能。。。但最重要是小朋友能够按着字来读书，不是自己讲关于那本书的内容情节。我儿子说有个小孩就是这样，被校长话他做得不好。

the core issue is "Listen to instruction" and "do whatever he was told".

My son was asked to summurize a story book and tell Principel what the whole story about..not reading.

請問如果面試在下午4.30舉行，而仔仔讀全日制，我讓他穿校服面試會否好怪?

My son also briefly described what the story was about before starting to read several pages.  Based on other parents' comments, this time all kids are asked to "read" several (2-3) pages.  The word "read" - I believe it means reading word by word.

Maybe now the headmistress wants to make sure that all YW boys have a habit of reading and are able to recognize words and pronounce them clearly.

In fact, "reading" without recognizing the words is not real reading.

My son was asked by the Principal to stop just after reading the first two lines of the first page of his English book.  That's it. Strange....

Nope, according to my son's description.  He recalled that both he and Ms Lam didn't say much during the interview ("有咩嘢講喎").  But anyhow, I doubt how accurate his description is.  He's a five years old kid afterall.

我仔仔今日都終於見左校長，佢都話淨係讀故事書，無其他問題啦！　唔通林校長見去年ｄ方法通晒天（數ｓｎｏｏｐｙ），所以今年唔再玩？
讀書方面，阿仔話校長無叫佢地揀最鐘意果頁黎讀，反而要由頭讀起．　佢淨係話有個小朋友帶左本好大的ｄｒａｇｏｎ書，佢都想買番本．

我個仔見林校長那天，除了叫他用口語化講頭三版的故事書，還拿了隻恐龍玩具出來問：「究竟隻恐龍有乜嘢地方錯咗？」 我個仔第一個舉手回答，並把它們砌返啱位置。跟著校長問：「除了用膠水黏實，仲有冇其它方法？」他又係第一個舉手，佢答咗：「磁力」。出來之後，佢話好好玩。

我個仔都係任佢揀一本書要讀兩版，完成後呀仔話個個都有張黃色紙，但其他的小朋友寫乜東東他不知道，我見還釘有一張細紙仔印着"擁抱挑戰"。還想請問有無人知第一次見老師考中英數是怎樣計分的，如老師(分數)+校長(分數)，咁幾多分才有希望？
