I am still considering if it is too risky to take my boy to school on the orientation day cos I want him to have a visit to the campus before school for a smooth K3-P1 transition.

Our sons will not need to attend the meeting on July 6. Please check the school's website for details.
I don't think they will allow your son to enter the school on July 6. But you can bring your son to see the outside of the school before school starts so that he has an idea of how hi ...
I think it is related to the weighting of the subject relative to the final score.
That means 100% has higher impact than 80% (e.g. Chinese Composition) and 80% has higher impact than 50% (e.g. Dictation).
So this is what I did. I added up the achieved marks and divided the total achieved marks (e.g. 340) by the total marks (e.g. 680). It would then come up with the final average score (e.g. 50).
Please feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong :)
Cheers

某些科目的full mark 不是100分,真的不知如何計平均分?
I was told by an old boy (St Jo Primary) that the average was around 77 in the old days. Not sure if the average has become higher these years, but don't worry too much la. It's your kid's first P1 exam anyway. You would always be with him right?
Cheers

唉,做父母真係可憐!
你哋知唔知如果average marks around 80, 會唔考尾嗰幾個呀?
