I think your disappointment stems from the fact that your preferred universities are heavily American based.
Seeing that most ESF students aim for UK universities, the percentage of those getting into Ivy League Universities bound to be low.
The only UK universities you have included are Oxford & Cambridge, and you have ignored Imperial College, University College London, King's College London University of Edinburgh, and University of Manchester, all of which rank within the top 30 universities in the world & can compete on equal footing with all of the American Universities you have mentioned.
All in all, this is not at all a bad list.

The percentages of entry to some of the preferred universities are not so attractive.

University of MICHIGAN排18, 港大排26, 而DARTMOUTH College排54, 真是覺得有辱智商.

Do you know how they rank those universities?  From what I know is the basis for valuation change from time to time.  Sometime is base of graduated students' start up salary, sometime base on University's facilities, etc.  Therefore, before you look at the ranking, you have to check on how they do the valuation for the year.
I believe for most of the parents in here know which one is their dream University, so I  think this kind of ranking is for reference only and can't totally rely on it.

I notice that you know a lot about overseas universities.  I appreciate that there may not be any list that accurately reflects the ranking.  Some may be biased whilst others may simply be wrong ...

UK system is quite different from US system. The first degree for US system is general but not for UK system. e.g. engineering, medicine, law, dentist, pharmarcy.
e.g. If one interested on pharmacy or computer enigneering, there are no suitable course in Oxbridge.
