各位家長，除了"死記"之外，你們的小朋友會用甚

用一些簡單的拚音可以嗎?我個仔是不肯坐定串字的，我會偶然在他身邊不停串十次八次，例如RESPECT，提佢RE - SPECT  ,R音、s音 t音。
暫時不是太多生字要串，可以還可以應付得來。

中文字我多數將字形象化，好似我仔默個"臉"字，我說"月"字邊都與肉有關的，之後頭髮是"人"字，之後眼眉是"一"字，兩個"口"字是眼睛，兩個"人"字是咀仔。
琴日又有一好方法，個仔默過後便輪到我默，我特登寫錯，等佢發現，佢好開心，我一路寫佢一路笑！捉我錯處之後教番我點寫....咁樣印象深刻D嘛~~
不過英文便要死記了，如果學會了拼音，應該容易D。

英文方面，懂拼音便會容易一點。不過其實小朋友最容易錯的都是小處，要經常提點那裡要用big or small letter，fullstop等等.

我曾經睇過一本雜誌介紹某所學校是用類似以上方式默書，結果小朋友不單只沒有抗拒默書，反而令小朋友得到滿足感和成功感。

我囡囡上拼音班的老師亦曾經說過懂得拼音可以

我細仔上次英文默書不合格，老師要他多溫習．可是每次見他明明記得某個英文字串法，可惜一覺醒來，又全部忘記．你跟他說道理，他不想聽，也不明白默書的意義,幸好他記得老師要他溫習．又怕壓力太大，弄巧反拙，使他以後不敢上學．不過，他說自己不會拿零分．而每次默書目標向６０分大軍進發，達到目標後再向前推進．昨天英默，今天中默，剛升小一，負擔的確太重，希望慢慢改進．最終能自覺有需要默書，背誦生字．有時他會混淆"FRIEND"與"THANK"的串法.可惜剛學拼音,未能有多大幫助.

Eng dicta better teach them phonic, great help!
Chinese as per other mama said use imagination!
my boy hv 讀障 hard to write & read.  so phonic can help a lot!  by the way can try use some sign for them to spell words.  i've create some blocks for my boy to spell words.  eg b,d,f,h,k,l,t than a long block than on the line; g, j, p,q,y than also a long block that under the line; for a, c, e, i, m, n... a square block on the line.

my cousin's boy, 6.5 yrs old, is still dictating 'it', 'is' word in international school. But he can read a lot of Eng books already.

So envious of his school.
