Kentville Kindergarten pupils are accepted by most private and DSS schools as they have received very good academic training. Just talk about those who targetted private schools and DSS schools in my son's class, there are pupils going to APS, St. Francis', DGJS, GH, TSL, DBS(PD) and some other famous private schools in the coming September.

APS=宣道, St. Francis'=聖方濟各, DGJS=女拔, GH=德望, TSL保良局陳守仁, DBS(PD)=男拔直資

我咁問係想知道讀根德園係3rd round叩門時有冇實際幫助.

今年根德園小朋友教直資和私校都有好成績, 我囝囝個班好多教到九龍塘宣道, 九龍塘小學, St. Francis', DGJS, GH, TSL, DBS(PD)..

派位方面有舊小

我本身住青衣,呢區的好小學數量少兼多人爭,所以我諗住報間好d的幼稚園,第日遠孜考番津小或直資時,希望有名牌幼稚園的背景能夠叩倒一間好小學的門,我咁樣諗會否好傻,有冇人好似我咁樣?

兩年前我的同事在3rd round時叩私校聖方濟各的門，校方安排補考，兒子考試當日，他說有12人，五個是根德園學生，五個是St.Catherine學生，其餘兩個無穿校服，結果他兒子都成功考入。所以說讀根德園這類學校有少少著數，但私小無論如何都會用考試選人，只要讀得好一定有機會。

I never wear uniform for my son’s interview but my son was accepting by all private schools and waiting list for DBS.

I think that private school will pick kids from the following criteria
1. Standard of the kids (including academic, EQ, discipline)
2.Standard of the parents (family background)

As the syllabus of Kentville is above standard and kids are quite discipline in front of the teacher at least. Most of them perform quite well in the first part. You can’t change the second part in few months and you better try to understand the school more and emphasis your strong point to the school.

當日的interview是3rd round，就是在6月放榜後，是上課日早上，所以考生才穿校服，聽同事說interview後還要返根德園考final試，我想大概是這樣才會穿校服，第一輪考試是不用穿校服的。但我兒子去年考私校時，我見很多人都要穿得很隆重，我都不知道有沒有好處。

ic...我心目中著得佢乾乾淨淨就算架拿...唔太想將佢扮到成個花女咁去interview.

講問有冇聽過根德學生向第3 round 叩門可以成功入到 Maryknoll 既呢?  我個女向根德成績好中等, 一定無4科100分個d.  我真係有d擔心..

想問問大家...係咪所有學校比你叩得門, 又in 得你既, 通常都係要你曾經向大抽獎揀過d間學校既呢?
