Agree, parents can't expect that TSL kids can speak English in a native tongue, it's not an international school.
But I do think that the general English standard of TSL students is better than other local schools' on average.
Also, better English =/= worse Chinese.
So bridging to secondary school shouldn't be a problem.
According to my observation, TSL can arouse students' learning interest. It's fundamental to a child's development.
