New ESF Kinder

I heard that a new ESF Kinder will be opened in Ma On Sha in coming school year.  Is it truth?  If yes, may I know that where is it?  And how to apply.  Please help...

I guess it is very difficult for the school bus to take a few children from too far away to MOS. Have you applied Abacus before as Abacus is actually the ESF Kinder serving Sai Kung & Clearwater Bay, TKO, etc.?

Congratulation. So how many classes in total for both AM / PM sessions they are offering now? I assume it is also around 20 kids per class?

Sorry forget to answer this. Normal ESF school like SJS, QBS, CBWS, BHS (Primary schools), KGV, SC (Secondary Schools), etc are subsidized by Gov't. They are primary and secondary school only.

ESF Educational Service Ltd Kinders, like RC & DC, are Private Independent School (PIS), are not subsidized by Gov't. However they are under the big umberlla of English School Foundation. So somehow they are still connected. So ESF Kinder will have priority for both kinds of school, for interview only.

ESF Center looks after all the ESF Subsidized school, while DC & RC are "supposed" to operate independently. But again I will guess somehow they are connected and well-communicated for all kinds of student affairs.

It was our pleasure to confirm the good news for parents of 2005 born children [who would be due to start kindergarten as a K2 student]... Those children will have priority for an interview in either an ESF Foundation Primary School, or an ESF Private Independent College. The rule requiring two terms attendance in kindergarten before the January 2010 interviews for Year One will be waived for such children.

Pls call WKS to ask for more detail.

Do they accept your application?   the staff said my tour will be arranged on mar 29th but I haven't yet rec'd the letter.....
