Hi, Belle,
Could you mind pm Mr. Wong’s contact to me? We will unlikely move to HK Island in the near future as the cost is so high there.
Mathew’s daddy is worrying whether Mathew could get used to primary life.  Do any of you know that RC will have summer class during the summer holiday in additional to the bridging course from 25 – 31 Aug?  Is there any good bridging course organized by other organization?

Hi Tsechris,

For private school, I think the students' academic levels are more even than the govt sub school.

It really depends on what you want : 男女校 or 女校; willing to pay for a better 學習環境 or not.

Hope you can make up your mind soon la ! Good luck.

I just finished RC reigistration.  The process was fast as the staff collected the reply slip and cheque and returned to me a notice.  I also got the school bus list of 08/09 for reference.  FYI, from WC/CWB to RC, the fee is $585 per month and pick up time is 7:20am. This is reasonable, but i guess there will be a gentle increment in the coming year.

Hi Cheryl71 & other RC parents,

Yeah !! My hb also finished the registration this morning lu. He said 好多人, hope next year the class will not be too big la. The class structure for next year will be same as this year, 2 classes with girls only so that more girls in the same class. Good arrangement !

我今日都去左交留位費, 心情輕鬆多了! 在門外問了芳姨, 旺角西7:20上車, 約 30-45 mins 車程, 行西隊或舊隊, 視乎情況.

我都是昨天交了留位費呢, 不過my hb問不到private van's details 呀, 可能係lunch時間(下午1點).  之後睇通告在明年7月4日返學校購校服etc. 真係好期待tim! eee

It's like a notice paper, my hb got it after register in RC.  You did not received it?  In there mention for we need go to school for school uniform etc. on 4 Jul 09.

It's also a receipt of $800 registration fees.  Please keep the receipt until we get the tuition fee pay slip of Sep 2009.  The paragraphs mention that we have to go back to school on 4 July to order textbook and buy uniform....

Hi PC parents,

I noted from小一選校section that RC seems not starting to call the applicants on waiting lists till June next year. I feel curious as other private or DDS schools will do so immediately after registration. What do you guess ??

I guess that RC might have admitted a little bit more students according to past statistics but it turns out that not many students give up the place at this stage.  I know that St. Louis has 2 class but more than 100 students were admitted because they predicted that some students will give up the place after the lucky draw and also they have resources to open one more P.1 class if not many students give up the place.  So I wonder how many students would be in each class at the end.  Would there be any upper limit (e.g. 30) in private school?  
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Avislai,

I think not only RC, other schools will also accept a bit more students so as to reduce their admin. time and cost. Actually, we should understand the difficulties of the schools to make a balance on how many students should be accepted as “收得少又話收生不足, 收得多又話太大班學生”.

Have you registered RC ?

Yes, I heard of SFA - Kln side also over accepted the number of students.  Because under their exp. they can estminate how many students will not come to registeration.

Beside, I am planning go to Tokyo in January 09, however still very expensive (who said more cheaper for traval la)....
