性格好bb, 所以我頗緊張佢的小學.

傱RC的application form所要求是足歲. 但亦聽到不少細仔被取錄, 所以不要考慮太多盡力以為. 可能您仔仔成功呢, 如果失敗都比仔仔多interview的機會.

Hi all,

請問大家買晒書未呀, 我買了一部分. 昨天家姐來探訪大家一起看看新書及書單(她囡囡是升小五, 就讀港島區名女子小學).

家姐看了書單(p.1)時說課程好好不太多科本, 英文好著重, 仲有science tim, 我問science不是中學才有? 原來常識科英文版=science?! 我真係不知道....

她一路看p.2 > p.6她說由書單看由p.4開始多了很多不同的科目cover亦好大(仲大部分係英文), 她說如果她早d知RC係咁全面及語言的重視, 她一定選擇給她囡囡... 哈哈我笑說此乃緣份呢, 因RC上年才開始收女生呢. :)

我一直對RC都充滿信心, 不過未作比較之前都有少許擔心因始終都很小comments from other parents, 尤其在課程. 現在可以說更有信心無錯誤之選擇, 大家一起努力.

Hi all RC parents

I haven't been here for a long time. Same as u all, I also registered for my daughter on 4 July, ordered textbooks, paid all the misc charges and school bus fees. We are in Wanchai/CWB district.

Target to buy school uniform this Sat at North Point.

Looking forward to meeting u all on 22 Aug.

Hi all,

Thanks FungMm and Belle for sharing RC's textbooks and glad to know that it covers so wide. I have not actually read the booklist in details but only ordered full set from school.

Just noted from Johnnyrotten that the school material is difficult. As we are working moms, what do you think we can do for enabling our children to catch up the school work more easily, esp during the adaptation period in the first term? How shall we handle the homework after school?

Please share. Thanks.

Starting from this summer holiday we are encourage my son to read more. Hope it can growth up his interesting for study.

Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right, read more and write more is important. I also think it is better to work out a new study timetable for our children for P1, starting earlier now or in August.

Beside, will you make (包書膠) for the books? 因我看到書的背後頁需填上名稱, 班別及學號, 是否開學後才(包書膠)比較好d?

If I remember correctly, some bk moms have mentioned this issue - 包書膠. They said some schools will not allow/encourage their students to use 包書膠 as it is not environmental protection and the books will become heavier. They removed all 包書膠 at last.

I don't know if RC will let their students to do so. I think you can ask the class teachers on 22/8 as we will have chance to talk to them. For me, I don't like to use 包書膠.

Yes, the principal stated it very clearly last year that there's no need to use 包書膠 cos it would make the books much heavier and it's really not environmental friendly.

Each class will have around 37 students.

Hi FungMm,

P1 parents will go to school with their children (wearing uniform) on 22 August for 分班 and get the textbooks. This date was stated in the notice which we received from the school by mail in around the last week of June. You may have overlooked la. Please check.

Please note the notice (together with the payment slips for art/craft and stationery fees) was received by hand during our register at school on 4 July. The time of orientation day is 10:30a.m. to 12:00noon. The school will arrange bus service at 10:00 to 10:15a.m. at exit B1, Wanchai MTR station to school for students and parents.
