以我愚見又未必凍過水,隨著更多隨後而來既DSS面試及公佈結果,相信陸續都會"空出" D學位,可能時間比較長一些,但此校既wait list,應該好大機會,何解?因為學費比較貴,可以跨區選擇而又有得揀既話,更好的直資學校多的是,同區另一直資,單是學費已平近千元,相信仍有大把人考,小一直資收生既遊戲,此乃序幕也....分分鐘唔夠人連reject D都叫返來 in過也未定,不過,大家也知,小朋友考這間不得,並不代表考另一間不得,君不見失落於此,但後來連番報捷之例證嗎?

Agree, those on waiting list should have a high chance. This school tends not to disclose the admission progress which makes parents quite confused & puzzled. I don't know why it cannot make things more friendly to parents. No worry, places will be released gradually.

In the second interview, just general questions are asked. From my esperience, six (pairs) of parents were assigned in a group. The teacher invited us to share views on why we chose WKF, how you nurture your kids and how you co-operate with school. Very general.

Fully agreed! when I submit my application form , I don't know the interview include the "talent show"  for last year, if I know, I'm sure to give up apply this school. However, the application form was submitted and the letter of the interview did not have the "talent show" this year, so, I let my kid to join the interview,(what's a joke on Thursday! just one day on Sat. I think this school did not respect the kids and parents).

Finally, I think if I'm without interest to this school, therefore, I have withdrawal the 2nd interview and let another interest applicant to get the seat.

Seems the principal has been changed this year...

I totally agreed with you.
I also give up the 2nd interview chance few weeks ago and let those parent in need to get the seat.

In fact, my daughter was accepted by a private school before WKF's interview.   After interview, my minded was very clear.  I confirmed that I ranked that private school much higher than WKF. Even if WKF also accepted my daughter, I would give up the seat.  Therefore, no need to attend 2nd interview at all.

I agreed that WKF is a good school, but there are still many good private and DSS school to choose.  
Each school has its own "fans"
If you really interested in WKF....wait....
After the "lucky draw", many many parents give up the seats.

Ha ! Ha !
Talent Show...... Our girls just like taking part in Miss Hong Kong   ^__^

"Fans" have limited...is not all the parents willing to join the "fan club" .

Hey, le'ts bet, after the discretionary place application (accounce in Nov.) , We shall receive the call from the school again? ..

After the lucky draw, will they call the rejected applicants for re-interview?

我亦好唔明白... 你為何好像不太了解WFK就去apply....唔通又係聽人講好, 跟住就去報...

Never mind, if you have time, take a look at DBSPD and DGJS's thread, the arrangement described by parents are chaotic too. However, surely most parents can't deny that if their child is accepted by these 'prestige schools', they can't resist the offer. WKF is  just an ordinary school and if our kid is happy, so are we : D.

We are all so stressed and eager to find a 'good' school for our kids.  Unfortunately, we are not able to predict what is the best for them because we are not gypsy with glass ball ;D.

Good luck in finding a 'right' school if not a 'perfect' school for our beloved child.

I think the reason they do not send you any rejection letter because they do not know how many parents will reject their offer and the kids who are supposed to be rejected will ultimately get a chance for second interview.

Around 15-20 mins group discussion with 6 pairs of parents was conducted. Total 3 topics....

1.) Any expectance for WKF?

2.) As a parent of your child, how to co-operate with school in primary education?

3.) Any question for WKF?

school invite so many parents 2nd interview, I cannot believe they can accept all the candidates.
So waiting list  may be the result of many of us.
