上次都算幾好, 不過今次好有難度呀,
其實都無話點教,
有時玩住讀,
有時惡住講,
有時又要鬧住溫,
總之咩都出齊...

Hi Sara,

How long do you take for preparing the dictation?

I spend at lease a few days last time for 10 words.  I tried using the phonic but my boy seemed not understand.

What is the average score?  My boy scored 8 out of 10.  He told me there were full marks and zero (???).

呀女係是P1G3 民社(Green) Talent class: Wushu武術, Table Tennis, Cricket, the last one is Chinese opera.

運動會聽有d家長話分 stuent numbers, 所以同班都有機會唔同, 不過唔知係唔係呢?

I think each student may be slightly different.  My boy takes Cricket first, then Chinese Opera, Drawing and Table Tennis.

As recalled, the school will let the kids to try all the activities (10+) in P1 and P2.  They will then specialize in one or two from P3 onwards.

The ten words: big, family, house, mother, dad, school, light, bathroom, bed, tradition

Can you tell me how do you know about the dictation?  I asked my boy and he said Mr Gaffney didn't say so.  He didn't write down on the homework book.  I tried to find his English book (the school based materials) but he said he left in school.  So, I have no idea on those ten words and do not know how long it would take for him to remember those words.  Oh my God!!!!!!!

Appreciate anyone can tell me the 10 words.  My boy is in P1G2.
