I have no idea about Parsons but for JMC, I know a little bit about it.  Actually JMC offers good aural training 聽力訓練, so the listening skill of the children can be improved.  However, the disadvantage is that they use electronic keyboard to practise, so if you learn playing the piano later, 要改啲手形都有啲麻煩。

Also the terms used in JMC may be a bit different from the terms that we learn from 皇家, in fact it is the way they talk about the theories is a bit different.

Dear LuckyGirl,

My baby attended the Tom Lee course in Mega Box when she was 2 years old.  The room was small but more than 10 kids and 10 parents.  My baby and me got sick after the lesson twice.  Moreover, two of the boys are so naughty and they disturbed the whole class.  I undersand that it may be normal that boys are usually naughty.  However, their parents never stop them and the teacher just said please, please, please ...........  At the last lesson, I requested to change to another class.  The staff said that they would contact me if they had spaces available.  Finally, they contacted me around the 2nd lesson of the next course.  (4 lessons per payment).  They asked me why I stopped to pay for the next course, I said that I would like to switch to another class again.  It seemed that they did not follow up the switch class request.  They called me just because of the non-payment!!!!!!!!  They insisted me to pay the total fees of the 4 lessons instead of the remaining 3 lessions.  They said that it is the company policy and I informed them too late.  Oh!  my god!

One of my friend had tried the Tom Lee 3 year-old course and she said that the course was good but may be too complicated for her son.  The teacher also compliant to her that her son was not suitable to study in this course as her son was too naughty.  Tom Lee asked her why she stopped the payment also.

Starting from 2.5 year-old, my baby studies in 栢斯 until now.  Only 4 kids per class.  The teacher know the way of controlling the descipline of the classroon.  She can stop my baby as she is sometimes naughty also.  Ha Ha !!!!!!

For your information, 栢斯 (18 lessons per payment).  One of my baby's classmate is now studying in both courses.  Her mammy said that both are good.  Tom Lee focus on Sing and Dance, but 栢斯 focus on musical knowledge also such as quarter note, quarter rest, ...........etc..
