Re: Shatin Junior School
Hi Amanda,
My daughter will be in P.2 next year. She is happy and enjoys going to this school. She used to be quite shy but now she is more outgoing and has made many friends outside her own class.
Her oral and reading English have improved a lot in the past year. She can now read an English story book (40 pages & 80 words per page) without any help. I think it is equal to local primary 3 standard. However, you need to enrol her/him in other Chinese/Putonghua classes because they don't learn much there. Mainly singing and reading some simple poems.
So far I have no regret in sending her to SJS. She learns a lot but not forced to memorise or have any dictations.
By the way, I have no idea about "earlybrids".
Rgds,
Aling
