My baby never speaks at interview

Hi, my little boy is two and three months old. He is quite active at home and does not speak a lot. But at interviews, he is always smiling and does not speak at all.
      We have received one rejection letter, and just wonder more rejections are on their way to our home.

your son born in Aug?  My daughter has the same problem.  she can talk a lot at home but whenever strangers want to chat with her, she keeps her mouth shut.  I think your son is better than my daughter, at least he smiles in the interviews.  My daughter even doesn't look at the interviewers.  btw, we have received 2 acceptance letters but pm class only.  we'd prefer am class.

So does my little angel. She does talk a lot at home but would keep her mouth shut during the interview.

So far she has interviewed 4 kinders and 1 has rejected. Hope she can be admitted by anyone of the other 3....

唔好咁擔心啦, 小朋友還細, 好多小朋友都有這個表現, 這個絕對不是一個問題, 小朋友大大吓就會轉變, 我的大仔細時都是這樣, 現在他讀緊k3, 情況已改善不少, 所以不用太緊張, 不要因為他們見到陌生人不說話而責備他們 !

my son is a 'small son', he is turning 2 soon. he also didnt speak in 9 out of 10 interviews, especially when people ask his name / age! he is also very talkative at home.

We know that they will get better when they get older, but the point is they have to go thru kindergarten interviews NOW!

會唔會係佢見得陌生人太少?
以前我個女都係唔會同陌生人講野, 我都好擔心. 但我地而家盡量帶佢見多d朋友, 又俾佢番nursery, 佢習慣左會同其他人講野同埋去到學校的環境冇咁生譜...
我諗你可以係呢幾個星期多d帶佢見下你d friend, especially 係d auntie, 姐姐, 咁可能有d幫助.

My girl didn't speak much in the interview in Learning Habitat but she is accepted. We are all very surprised. So, don't worry !

當年我個仔係細仔(12月出生), interview時都不太說話, 最後我in 三間幼稚園, 都有兩間收佢, 當中包括st. cat 和啟思(牛津道), 所以我諗啲老師都會因應佢哋嘅年齡而比番啲allowance架 ! 不用太擔心。

My daughter seldom speak anything in the interviews but so far, 2 kindergartens accepted her application.  but only pm class.  I asked one of the kindergartens that if there's any possibility to turn to am class but the staff said my girl's performance was not good enough to get a seat in am class

我囡囡２歲，而家搵緊下年K1 ，已經去左２次interview 但都係一句說話都無同老師講過
但係老師叫佢做的（e.g. 收拾玩具，推好張椅，比玩具爸爸／媽媽）都做到，但係都唔出聲:cry:

唔知你地小朋友係唔係咁
因為我要返工，所以想搵全日班，因此選擇唔多，都唔知會唔會搵唔到學校

你地比起我還好，我個仔仔In 咗4間幼稚園，全部唔係唔出聲，就係喊。我都唔知點算好？佢己經返咗成4個月nursery,我又成日帶佢周圍去街，但佢始終都只係同d熟口熟面 o既 人講野。

我個仔喺未入學校門口之前, 仲同我講 interview 努力 . . interview 加油 (佢都係2 yrs and 2 months right now)
只係in左兩間: 保良局及一間私校, 佢都冇出過聲.
保良局 : grouping interview 就掛住玩, 十問十唔應 (結果收左pm)
私校 : 對住個姐姐, 淨係要抱又唔肯答問題, 結果係in 我 (結果收左am, 可能我住得近)
所以唔駛擔心, 因為你跟本都唔知學校以乜野黎收生.
