Anyone received call from PLK Choi Kai Yau for 2nd interview?

I just received a call from the School re the 2nd interview.  It is scheduled for 29 November.

Students who sit the IBD examinationmay apply for universities around the world, including Hong Kong.

If IBD students apply for Hong Kong universities, they are now classified under "direct admissions", to differentiate from JUPAS (Joint University Programmes Admissions System)

In my own opinion, the new senior secondary school curriculum somehow models on IBD.  But who knows what will it be when it is implemented?

So numerous...Even the number is capped at 390, it only means 150 (5 classes with 30 students each max) will be offered admissions.  The probability is less than 40%.

Would other parents please share here if you receive notice to attend the 2nd interview AFTER 30 November?  Many thanks.

Latest list already posted for interview dates 29 & 30 Nov! (total 390 candidates)

But I wonder if the list still grows as the school stated that 2nd interview lasts until 10 Dec...

Thank you for reporting the accurate figure - should be 384 published on the Web up to this moment.

Perhaps CKY School thinks that quite many applicants will not attend the 2nd interview if they are allocated a target school under the central allocation scheme.  Therefore they tend to select a larger number of candidates for the 2nd interview.

Just my wild guess only.

Just a quick survey: Will you still go to the 2nd interview if your little prince/princess is allocated a target school through the Government's Scheme?

We didn't submit an application at all for the "big lottery".

May I know from which source do you know that CKY will announce the application result before Christmas?

We were told at the interview that the result will be announced in January.

I called the school and the lady told me.  My kid was interviewed on 26/11.
