Anyone received call from PLK Choi Kai Yau for 2nd interview?

Hi all,

Previously, my friend was informed the 2nd in schedule on 8 Dec.  But she was told to re-schedule it to 6 Dec afternoon session.  Her kid's application # was also updated in cky's website.

I'm afraid the schedule for 2nd in has already altered and it will end on 6 Dec.

No matter how, I think there should some places reserved for "waiting list" or "knocking-door".  Hence, don't depress.  As WD40 said, 2008 surely will be a good start for all parents and childern.

As I know, 5 Dec is their school sport's day.  So I don't think they will arrange 2nd in on that day.  While for the other days, I have no idea but just told by my friend that she has re-scheduled the 2nd in to 6 Dec.

Just ring to school to get more info la~

My son is studaying Learning Habitat.  This school's teaching style is quite similar to CKY.  As a know, CKY had offered many places to LH student last year.

I finished the interview yesterday. Unexpected, my son and his classmate(very best friend) was in the same group.  Only two of them went to meet the principal. I could not guess what will they do during the interview because they always play and play at school.  Anyway, when talking with the teacher, it seemed that she was familar with my son's school.  She even said that she was no need to explain too much about CKY to me.  She was very nice.

見到亞仔當日interview個組入面, 差唔多個個no.都係到, 唯獨唔見亞仔同佢個friend個no., 真係覺得'有冇攪錯'呀. 唔通佢地兩個真係差到可以令老師覺得其他人好好多? 唉, 好無奈... 佢地兩個都幾好架...

每班約有28人，若按五班計算，即140人。但今年小一有六班，若下年一樣開設六班，即168人。大概三選一。

Do u know how they choose the 168 students?  Basing the marks given by the headteacher or by the teacher who interviewing parents??

相信是按校長的評估為主，老師祇是協助家長理解學校，以免出現錯配的情況。至於何時會有消息，就不太清楚了。

今日打去學校問過，6/12是最後一批2 in學生，所以我地冇on
list既家長要努力向其他學校，大家加油!

Don't hurry.  As recalled that the teacher who interview us (parents) has told us that the result will be announced around X'mas.  She also reminded us to keep eyes on the website of cky in which they will announce the release day.

So, be patient.
