i have bought similar stuff .. it's noddy mandarin + english costed only $1888 with 17 dvd + 16 books.You can search for it at yahoo auction.

If you don't mind the simplified Chinese, you can buy it at Shenzhen bookstore,  it cost about YEN168 per set (I remeber there are total 8 sets).  I don't make any comparsion between HK and China version.  However, I suggest you to see the quality and completeness of China version.  If it is OK, you can buy one or two sets for your baby to try.
