I think that the lady was just kidding.  

No la, that woman was serious. After knowing what had happened, everyone there (including her, me & ABB) burst in laughter. I did comfort him that everyone has his own strength & weakness, also we can improve our skill by lots of practice. He didn't mind anyway. He spread the joke to everybody he met and thought it was funny.

For the notes of the conference, I probably will make them in soft copies, that make easier to forward to someone who needs. I'll inform you when they're ready to release.

At the begining I was too aggressive to start too many things and end up in a mess. I'm just not good at juggling all of them altogether. Now I have my own plan in solving one problem at a time. The priorities of those problems are:
.diarrhea--solved
.sinusitis--solved
.too skinny
.weak muscle tone
.dilated pupils
At the same time he has to do those ex. to improve his co-ordination and behaviour.

Somehow I believe a healthy kid will have healthy mind. But if he's still has problem after restoring his health, I will look into those supplements for brain like B12, Learner's Edge etc.

Talking about vit. C, I found the one from Kirkman is quite convenient. 1/4 teaspoon contains 1100 mg and will be released slowly during the day.

hi everyone,
I don't think "liverlife" was mentioned in the conference. It is one of the supplements that I've got for my son but never got a chance to try.  Since my son's condition was really bad before(bowel problems, temper tantrums, not able to learn new stuff for months and still non-verbal @ age 4..etc...), I don't even had a chance to try this one yet.
It's only after my son's endoscopy 2 months ago, we see some improvements (much better mood most of the time, normal bowel, ... little things that mean a lot to us) and so we have the chance to add these new supplements to him one at a time now.
My son's dosage is 2 drops X 2 times a day.  I read from the bottle that it recommends to add this liverlife to "pure water" so I did.  I add 2 drops in a small cup of water and usually my son will just drink it without complaints.  I try it myself, I can't feel any taste.
I was told this liverlife is for detox.  I do see some steady small improvements in my son.  But during these 2 months, I've added some other supplements to him too.  & this time his condition is more stable, unlike before, for months, he would go "crazy" from time to time.  We thought it was yeast, but now that he's been OFF all the anti-yeast medication except coconut oil and don't see a problem.  I think yeast is not the main issue causing my son's weird problems before.  That's only my guess.
Oh, for detox, I also (just 2 days ago) started to apply "authia cream" onto my son.  It really smells awuful  :

Anyone making GFCF bread for her kid?  Will a bread making machine help?  I have decided to try my son on GF diet more consistently after the Autism Conference.

We make gluten free bread and cake for my kid using a automatic bread.  We buy GF bread mixes.  I think any brand will do.  Ultramom was concern about the telfon coated pan though, but they are all telfon coated.

BTW, has another brought their kid to this Life Cafe in Soho?  They have some gluten free western dishes.  I just don't think my kid with a Chinese rice based diet will like it.

I make the GFCF bread & cake for my son for almost 5 months.  I use the "Sharp" oven which has all bake, steam, roast, grill, reheat, etc functions.  The steam / reheat functions are especially good to reheat the bread & cake and keep them soft and moisture enough after stored in the refrigerator.  Besides this, the grill function of the oven is also very good for making chicken wings.

Thanks Dommon and HayBmom!  But I still have not decided which one to buy.  An automatic bread maker is probably easier..

I got the "liverlife" from US.  As a matter of fact, it was recommended by someone else and I never heard of it before.

I bought the coconut oil from "health generation" (kowloon city).  But I know it is also available in little giant too.  Better call them before you go.
it is for yeast control and since it is natural thing, I think it is very safe to use.  It smells good and I just add it to rice milk/almond milk for my son.
1tsp in morning and 1 tsp in evening.

i use a conventional oven to bake GFCF cake/muffin for my son.  Dommom is right, most of the baking pan are telfon coated so I always use baking paper to wrap the baking pan first.  Don't know if that helps but "feel" that the cake/muffins are not directly in contact with the telfon.

Thank you for the information about coconut oil.  I can't see in Little Giant yesterday.  I'll check health generation.

I have also dropped the authia cream for a while.  After the Asian Autism Conference and your message, I take it out for my son again last night.  The smell is really very strange and can be smell even far away.  

BTW, any parent has recommendation of Glutathione cream ?

we have started biomedical treatment for my son for almost a year now.  Although I haven't seen "break-thru" in my son yet, I must say glutathione cream is one of the few things that I've seen noticeable change in my son.  I believe it helps my son a lot.
Plus it doesn't smell bad, easy to apply.
the only thing is it is quite expensive $$$$$

p.s. I just call Ruby @ little giant.  They have coconut oil in stock, maybe you didn't see it.  Just ask the staff.

I bought Kenwood's bread making machine in Sogo half an year ago. It has a mode for making gluten free bread. I just put the bread mix (from Little Giant) inside with water and wait for 3 hours. My son will eat them when they are fresh, but after freezing he will not touch them if without maple syrup.

This Kenwood's bread machine cost about $8xx. I don't know whether it is the best or not,  I bought it just because it was the only choice at that moment. According to the sales, any brand will have the gluten free function.
