It is not because she study in co-ed school, it is because she is a girl! Girls are like that nowadays generally.
The author of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" does not says it is because they are bought up separately in boys' schools and girls' schools, it is just because boys and girls are like that naturally.
Do you notice that even in co-ed schools, boys are always just play with boys, girls are always gossip with girls, before puberty?
Do you find teachers in co-ed schools have time to teach boys and girls in the same class in different ways because their movtivation and reaction are different?  Or they find universal way to teach them so that both boys and girls love to study to the same extent?
In my limited experience, I heard many stories about how graduates and students from boys/ girls schools achieve more, but have not heard stories about how these people suffer from unhealthy personal growth due to school background.

我yau 搭兩句嘴, 講下我的一些自法:

對於兩性的發展, 綜合我身邊的限量所見所聞, 在現今世代,雖然小孩子都是比以前早熟, 但似乎女孩子的增長速度比較男孩子增長速度快多了, 而且更大膽了

除了關心他們在課堂與女孩子的學習差異外,我同樣關心他們與女孩子在其他方面的差異和發展

結合了男孩子天性, 女孩子的發展, 還有現在的社會價值觀, 我比較擔心男孩在co-ed school, 會比較容易吃虧

我希望在一個比較單純的環境中, 能讓我比較容易先建立了他們一套我認為要終身持守的價值觀

不過, 我想也許有些過慮了, 想得太多了 (如Anthea 你以前所說)

最近, 有機會自了區祥江<因子之名>, 這本書, 是講男孩子的特色的 , 讓我對男孩的培養多一點了解

唔駛客氣!  我用開之前兒科醫生開比阿囝的牌子 - nasal spray water - 是藍白色樽 (牌子名一時唔記得, 要今晚回家看看) 另外 鼻 cream 用 Ni####a - 是青綠白色 packing。  在 Watson 同 萬寧 都有得賣, 你搵有藥劑師的 Watson同 萬寧 counter, 他們會教你用架啦!

其實兩樣都不是藥, 不用醫生紙, 又日日用, 少數怕長計, 阿囝宜加大些無咁
