請問係醫生度做, 定係其他地方(化驗所)做?
我上次參加咗"six senses"的講座, 都有講用2滴血就可以做到food allergy test, 當時冇想到要做, 所以冇記低個名, 好似bio-????. 我記得佢哋話係寄去seattle個lab度做, 好似要$2,XXX.

各位家長,
我嗰仔前一排揾到位小兒腸胃科醫生, 做咗內窺鏡檢查, 發現條腸真係有發炎, 而家食緊醫腸炎的葯.
那位腸胃科醫生將會在下周二於伊利沙伯醫院一個醫生聚會中, 將我個仔的case拿出來和其他醫生討論一下. 如果有家長有興趣的話, 亦可參加. 不過請pm姓名及人數給我, 以便預先通知醫生作安排. 日期/時間: 7月18日星期二晚上8:30pm.

May I share the reason why your child need to see the 小兒腸胃科醫生 ? Is the 內窺鏡檢查 done under general anaethesia (put child to sleep)?

My son has a lot of gases (burps) after meal and I am worried that there may be gut problems.

因為我阿仔有成大半年都冇高過又冇重過, 以前(bb時)係中上碼(根據健康院個圖表), 而家(就快4歲)跌到25%(比average細碼). 而且大便亦不很正常, 一時幾日冇大便, 有就好多時都係似牙膏狀(希望各位唔好介意不雅), 所以懷疑條腸有事, 而且dan! protocol都係成日話要先搞好條腸先.
係, 要anaethesia. 所以都考慮咗好耐.

今日帶乖仔去Dr. Trodd處抽blood sample做PAP(Immune Function and Viral Panel), 未入到clinic 已經問是否要打針，我當然話：唔駛！(抽血唔同打針嘛)
好了，終於抽啦，喊到拆天，三個人按住，Dr. Trodd落針，抽左一大筒，事後送左個airport playset，三星期後有report.

Is PAP same as Premier Autism Panel Test (costs $6,000 and have to be done on Monday)?

I am still struggling if we shall bring Justin there for the test? I am afraid that he will fight to the end! Last time when I asked Dr. T about the purpose of this test, he did give me some explanation but it seems very vague. I only know that it is to test whether the kid has certain kinds of virus inside their body. Is it your understanding? Though I have read the report sample, I have no idea of what they are! Sorry for my ignorance!

I think the blood draw is not so painful as some narcotics will be rubbed half an hour before. My son has screamed but didn't struggle so much. I kept talking and feeding him candies to distract him. Having someone to block his view also helps reduce anxiety.

This test helps finding virus such as herpes, measles and strep that could be treated by medication or supplement. It also helps finding the allergens such as casein and gulten. Mercury level could be detected through this test as well.
