Don't think they prefer "professional parents". We have "big BBs" whose parents are lawyers, doctors, corporate executives but not selected for interviews.

However, she didn't said all the selected children were select by Sister Koo solely.

In fact, i think nobody can 100% understood their selection criteria, right?

我朋友中大部分都係專業人士, &大/中B, 但全軍覆沒! 抽獎都分分鐘有人中... 不過SPN就無人中!

至於生活照, 個個都會比個開心精靈樣比老師睇啦...

I just code the words of the interviewer. Before to having the interviewing letter, i have not reviewed very much on St. Paul information. No friends or relative have applied St.Paul Day Nursery / Kindergarden. Most of my friends have not have children yet.
Orginally, i plan to apply half day SPK because my girl is a "small BB". After reading your thread, i tried to apply SPN as a warm up exercise. If fail, i can applied SPK too. In fact, I'm so surprise to receive the letter. After receive the letter, I have much expectation on this interview because i know the chance to receive the letter is low. And, i don't want to compete in SPK application again. However, my kid and i also showed nervous during the interview.

i am so nervous in the interview, thus i am not sure the surname of the interviewer but i am sure she is not the vice-principal. My girl throw the lego on the floor and refused to pick it up. When i asked her to pick it up, she cried.   Most of the questions are concern about my girl's daily functioning like eating, tolieting,etc.

我個囡一開始時唔肯入去間房,因為出面d玩具太吸引.....
不過佢overall都好合作, 表現幾好, 上半part居然自己肯坐响樹玩lego.當問佢相中小朋友係邊個時,佢又講出自己嘅中文乳名,再問佢叫咩名,佢就講自己英文名,又同副校say "hi",'bye",又比friend kiss,玩完玩具叫佢clean up 又肯.....
至於interview內容,同你差唔多,都係圍繞日常生活,副校都有話如果n1收咗,咁第日唔可以報k1,就算報咗都唔收....
另外,佢話今次in嘅人數係比收嘅多,所以唔係人人都收,咁如果waiting嘅話,到n2時重想讀,咁可以send信比學校,到時有位就插班....[其實佢咁講,我諗多數唔收]
咁佢仲話月尾會有result,跟住就會有家長會,到時如果家長覺得同學校理念相同,咁可以到時先決定讀....
我都係打定輸數,星期六會去維記交學費,造校服...

我在學校參加義工時,聽聞學校想 take care children 好Ｄ,故此会將N1的師生比例降至1:8,即收生少於50人.
另外有兄姊就讀SPN的申請人有30+,未計有關係果Ｄ.

seems no obvious advantage for those with sisters/brothers in SPN, my relative's son is studying in SPN now, but his younger sister have not received interview letter this year.

當副校同我哋講waiting有關嘅嘢時,我哋响枱底"meet"緊對方大脾,大家feel到一定waiting.....點都好,遊戲完了,祝大家都good luck !

When i were waiting for interview, i met a boy to greet with the staff. The staff said he looks like his two sisters. I think the boy's sibling are studying in SPN.

I almost confirmed my girl fail in the interview because the interviewer did not inform me about the parent meeting on 30/5.

May I join?  We were interviewed by 主任today. The process was smooth. Hope we can get the acceptance letter by the end of this month.  If my daughter is accepted, I guess she will be the eldest in the class as she was born in Oct.
