weewee,
I understand your feeling. Lets your son practise more is the only way to improve his writing. Do you remember those flash cards for babies? Not sure if you had played with Chun Him when he was very young....it is a learning game to aid memorization by way of repetition. Chinese writing is the same, it is difficult to force him to remember but he could improve it by writing repeatedly. Do you have a white board at home that you could use that to play with him, you may write the words and ask him to read it out or you may ask him to write and you answer him.... Alternatively, you may grab a newspaper and ask him to circle as many as words he knows, no matter they are English or Chinese....that's fun. I will play such games with Chris and he looks enjoying much. Weewee, add oil !! 2 months later, you may see the improvement from Chun Him!
Midco, you guess right! 3 out of 6 fish were died over the last few days... Chris doesn't look too sad but he asked us why do fish die? Daddy answered him the fish died due to their sickness...then Chris asked again, if we get sick shall we die?? May the rest of the survivors live longer!
