i called to HW and they told me will have 3 classes in the coming P1 and will not be more than 30 students each class. (i hope it will be less than 30!)
Hope my son will be all your classmates too.

Anyone knows the school fee of HW P1?
I know this school because my old father and many uncles graduated in HW high school (long long time ago). It was a very famous school in the past. Those old guys are still proud of being HW boy now. :

maybe my son is "small kid" (since he was born in Nov 2001), do u think their ability will be worse than those who was born in the beginning of the year?
Since some of my friend suggest that maybe its better for my son to repeat K3 , or else he will be quite difficult to catch up the work in primary , is that true?
Any comment from other parents?

But as I know (I've phone to the 小一入學學位分配組) , since i can't get the seat in the first round, so if I give up before Jan 20, the date of starting the 2nd round lucky draw, then I still can entitle to the system again next year . (pls correct me if I'm wrong)
Actually I've been thinking to let my son repeating K2, but his teacher said no need to do so, so I just let him study K3 this year, but now I'm worry that it will be harder for him to catch up in the primary.....

I don't think it is appropriate.  My son is Aug. Few months ago, I have the same feeling as you. But I found that he is improving quickly in the past 2-3 months. I suppose it is natural. Take another few months, U can notice the improvement. :

Jodi, my son is younger than yours, born in Dec.
i think it is a bit late to change now. I struggled about this matter too. My son's learning ability is not too low, however, his EQ is pretty weak... still like a baby sometimes.  that is one of the reasons i choose HW, in order to have more careness and attention from the teachers.
Do u prepare the profile? maybe it is useful when u present together in the interview.

Hi Jodi and ChrisMaMi,

I agreed with ChrisMaMi, my daughter was born on Oct 01 and I found she is not mature enough and sometime her EQ is quite low.  

Don't give up, try your best and hope that our kids can become classmates in the coming September.

do you mean the school fee of HW p1 is only $1300 per month??  

do you know the relationship about HW primary & secondary school.... can all primary students promote to HW secondary school?
