我冇揀我舊校做第一志願呀，相隔左咁多年，都唔知道間學校重係唔係咁好

出左 TRIP，而家先睇到你既回覆。

各位, 請問面試是否要帶以下正本文件架?

(1)小朋友出世紙/身份證/其他文件如bno, 特區護照等
(2)住址證明文件(如水/電/煤/差餉等
(3)浸洗紙
(4)k2的成績表/評估表
+ 50元(入場費)



有無遺留呢? 咁家長身分證明文件是否要看

Hi mums

I will bring my daughter to interview on 6/11, any one bring along with profile ?  Should I need to prepare it ?  We already provided 5 A4 paper size letters to DGJS when present the application form.  Can any one tell me ?

去到報到室後你要等叫名，然後個staff會同你對文件，最重要係攞你個女o既成績表正本入去俾校長睇，o個時你就可以將o個d資料俾個staff啦!!

Yes Chanlui, I think God will arrange the right road to our kids.  What we have to do is always try our best and no need to worry too much.

I think is mid-Nov,  21.12.06 the result will be send out.  The interview is only in the weekday.

I think the main rejection reason is the performance during the interview.  Family background is not the only criteria.

As some parents mentioned before, the headmistress didn't even look at them at all, that means no eye contact, do you think they have very high chance (no need to look at the parents and will definitely accept their daughter) or no chance (no need to waste her time to have a look at the parents)?

其實DGJS的程度是否真的很深？會否1年班就要用2年班的教科書？是否除了中文科外全部科目都用英文教？依家有好家長在小學時已搵私人補習，想問下裏面讀緊的小朋友是否很多都要補習

put it this way, as long as every single kid has 5 minutes not some 10 and some 2.  It's fair.  Don't forget this is the school taking the risk of taking the wrong kid, no the kid picking the wrong school.  School has every rights to determine the way it prefers.

Each school has its rights to choose a method which fits itself.  Like interview for a job, some companies may ask you to do test but some just verbal interview.

For a 5-years old kid, what interview format would you expect, written test, performance test?  Asking the opinion about keeping the old Star Ferry or not; or the opinion on Chief Executive election.

If the interview is conducted in English, will it be ahigher chance for aceeptance?

If the interview is conducted in Cantonese, how can the principal identify who is fluent in English and who is not, assuming DGJS is very concerned about the English standard of their students??

If the kid said the first language is English then I think it will be conducted in English.  Conducting in Cantonese may give a fair chance to those not from the so-called prestigious kindergartens.

About the 2nd point, I think that's just your assumption.  I believe the main concern is whether they can pick the most suitable kids or not.  A smart kid can learn language very fast.
